Lucky Kennel Intermediate

This crate is fantastic, and the dog loves it. Highly recommend the Lucky Dog over the other name brands.

I've had the expensive, custom built stainless and I currently own a Gunner. However, this is my go to that goes with me throughout hunting season. It's more compact and easier to handle than the Gunner.

First, the 2 stars are for delivery-I bought this Intermediate on June 2 because it was “guaranteed delivery” for June 3...then it was delayed to June 4...it finally arrived June 5. Way Too late for the initial reason I purchased it. Second, it arrived in a box labeled “Heavy”...part of the description is that it is “lightweight.” Third, once I managed to get it opened, there is a rivet missing on one of the tiedowns, so that tie down was loose. Fourth, an obviously broken off gray plastic piece fell out of the box when I looked for the missing rivet- no clue what it broke off from. Fifth, a plastic bag with 4 rubber wheel looking things and screws were tied to the door .....but no instructions or description of what I am supposed to do with these. Are these drain plugs or wheels? Don’t know, doesn’t say. Gee, other than that, it seems to be a nice crate, but for $500 of my hard earned dollars, I expect timely delivery, no missing parts, no weird random pieces, and instructions/descriptions of unexplained parts. So sorry I chose this one.

Dogs are safe while we travel now. Gives me peace of mind. Fits my Aussies and Golden Retriever nicely. Fits in the back seat area of my Ford F150 extended cab

Solid construction. My 65lb lab handled a trip from Mi to AR and back easily, comfortably. Recommend also buying the custom mat.

This kennel is amazing, the door shuts securely, secondary pins to keep the door shut tight, and lockable door to keep the dog safe. The size and construction are perfect for my 74lb Black Lab and keeps her safe during travel. She has just enough room to turn around in the kennel and lay down comfortably. A common misconception is that the dog should be able to stand up and move around freely in the kennel. However, that is incorrect and leads to injuries as the dog can be slung around in the kennel while traveling causing injuries. I will definitely be purchasing another of these when my next pup comes a long.

This is a very great crate I love everything about it but I just wish it would've been a size larger because my lab is a english lab and her height stands to 23 inches tall an she weighs 68lbs it seems a little small for her an the whole purpose of me getting one of these was so she couldn't eat through the bottom of the crate. Now she has to use that crate to sleep in at night while I put her in another larger crate while I go to work its kinda frustrating.

Sturdy dog crate that's great for car or rv travel. You do need to strap securely in place. It's heavy, so I may buy another one for the rv, instead of moving from car to rv, depending on which rig we take. At first it was difficult to unlatch the top latch, but it's loosened up a bit. I have to pull the door forward to release the top one, took getting used to. I have a lot more peace of mind knowing my dog is safer than when using a vari-kennel type crate. Door stays secure, don't have to worry about the top of door pulling away or the crate falling apart in the event of a crash. Worth the money spent.
