Long Story, but I'm very happy
The long story:A few weeks ago I hit a ball OB and found a Srixon Q-Star Tour that wasn't mine in the area. I dropped it and used it the rest of the round. Very soft feel, distance was good, and it spun the way I expected. I went back to my usual ball, which I like a lot and still like a lot, but every once in a while I'd pull that Srixon out the bag and play a hole of two with it. That soft feel just kept bringing me back to hitting it. Well, I lost it in a pond on a good shot - LOL! - that the wind pushed too far right. So, I decided to buy some on Amazon.Jump to today and I used one of them on my weekly league round. Well I shot my best score of the season, putted, chipped, drove, everything was better than typical. On top of that, I used the same ball, literally the same one, for all shots on all 18 holes. Something I never seems to accomplish in the past. Now I understand there are a lot of factors involved. Most of which fall on my shoulders. However, I'm really having a hard time going back to my old ball now. Even though I really like them. So, bottom line, they may not give you the best round of the season, but they do preform as well as any ball I've played (better today). The price is half the super premium balls. I'd suggest trying them.

Amazing ball for a fair price
I used to play the Q-Star and decided to get a dozen of these to test. Now I switched to the Tour. Still great off the driver, flies high and straight, not much difference from the original Q-Star (my clubhead speed is about 98-102 MPH). I felt the most difference in the short game and off the putter face, seems a bit softer and grabs a bit more, feels great. Overall an amazing ball for the price.

My FAVORITE Golf Ball!! Period!
Amazing golf ball! Srixon is so underrated and this is an equal and perhaps better ball in my opinion that any top name ball . Just hit this ball, it is as good as the Pro V1 without the $50 price tag. Buttery with a great sound! Awesome feel. LOVE Srixon!! Play it for yourself.

A good value ball with feel.
Baseline: My standard play ball is the Bridgestone B330 RXS. This is after playing Pro-V1's. My current index is 9.3.With age and a reduction in swing speed I decided to experiment with several types of golf balls during practice rounds, usually the "lost once" variety, just to see what's out there. Having found some Q-Star and Z-Stars, I felt they were good balls. Which brings us to this Q-Star Tour. The "Tour" is softer that the regular Q-Star. It's feel is a little "mushier" than the Bridgestone mentioned above. Distance seems to be about the same, but the feel is not quite as sharp or precise. However, the Tour is VERY durable. I played 18 holes with one ball and the cover doesn't have a mark on it anywhere. (Obviously no cart paths were hit). I do think it is a decent play ball that lends itself to those not wanting to fork out $45 a dozen for other balls, and whose swing speed is not up there with tour pros. It "bit" well on our greens and didn't have that cheap rock ball "click",They are worth a try.

Best Balls for money
I've been playing golf for 30 plus years, have played numerous balls, and my overall favorite is the Titleist Prov1. My daughter is on the high school golf team now, and she like the prov's as well, but I wasn't about to spent $50 a dozen on golf balls for the season. Searched around, tried these, myself as well, and can't believe how well this ball responds for the price. You can pick them up for $24.99 sometimes, and in my opinion well worth it. Greenside spin, great feel, as close to Prov1 as I've found for the price. Highly recommended!!!

Great Feel
If you are looking for a ball that is a cross between ProV1 and ChromeSoft, this may be a good choice to try. I have been using Srixon for years and this model seems to give solid control (as much as I can), good distance (about 5-10 yards less than Pro V) and decent spin. It also usually comes at a discounted price!

IMO better than the Bridgestone Tour B RX or RXS.
As my swing speed has gone down due to age, I've found that higher compression balls don't work for me. My PGA professional suggested I try the Bridgestone Tour B RX, and I loved it. Then found a Srixon Q-Star Tour ball while searching for a lost ball, played it the rest of the round and found it equal to the RX for me. The price cinched it: Q-Star Tour at $32.88 per dozen, while the Bridgestone Tour B RX was $49.99 per dozen. I did find a couple 'buy two get one free' offers, but the advertising was misleading and you were basically paying for 3 dozen balls. I played the Q-Star Tour for the rest of the season and my game is improving with the lower compression and Surlyn cover. Thanks, Srixon!

Best Value in Golf Balls!
Great ball! Hard to beat the value of this golf ball. Flies straight but workable, love the spin produced coming into greens from 150yards and in and the greenside control is tops. My favorite thing though is putting these balls, great feel off an Insert putter.
