Oh! Calcutta: Cookbook Paperback – June 30, 2012

This is a great book for people who enjoy cooking and like the details that give the real flavor of Bengali cuisine

Just ordered on Kindle and the recipes seem pretty detailed. Super-excited in the hope of recreating the flavors, while residing in a city that sadly doesn't have an Oh! Calcutta restaurant.

Mostly about style and food presentation, as they say in Bengali "aantelbaaji". Will be an excellent resource for an expert cook, but not for a beginner like me.I preferred Bongmom's Cookbook for my purposes.

I bought this book as it promised a detailed glimpse into the vast and mouth watering cuisine of Oh! Calcutta restaurant. And the book has not disappointed... it is chockful of concisely written recipes and many high res color photographs that entice you to try out recipes. I love it!

A fine book ! A very nice guide for step by step cooking of signature bengali dishes ( especially non veg items )

An excellent recipe book of the exquisite Bengali dishes from Anjan Chatterjee's acclaimed 'Oh Calcutta' restaurants. Very nice recipes that Bring the restaurant to your home! However this is not for the beginner and assumes some basic cooking knowledge.

Easy to understand , quick to assimilate and fun to dish out and have oh Calcutta on dining at home
