Flameless Candles by Festival Delights- Real Wax, 9pc Duracell Batteries Included, Multiple Color, Cycle Timer, Remote Control, LED Candles, Flameless Candle Set

I went through a whole bunch of these candles and the reviews to try and narrow my choices down. As usual my head was spinning with the different reviews.I did notice that these candles had good reviews and a total percentage of five stars were good too. Now they have my attention and I see the words that none of the others had.....Batteries Included! Well now we're talkin....almost all the others advised that each candle needs THREE AAA batteries, which totals NINE AAA batteries so you better have a couple of packs in the house when those candles. So now we have positive reviews, batteries included and what about the price? Well the price is pretty good compared to some others with good ratings. So I order.......The box arrives quickly because it is Amazon Prime. It is well packaged in a solid brown box with picture on a center label. No it does not have a full color box but who really cares and if it's a deal breaker for you, then move on. Everything is encased in two styrofoam package inserts the candles each have a separate section and around the sides is a clear plastic sheath of plastic material. There are instructions that are folded up tight so don't think they are just part of the packaging. Next came a really big surprise. The nine batteries included are not just the cheap no brand batteries, they have included nine DURACELL batteries! It was very easy to install the batteries if you are a parent who has gone through tons of Christmases where it seemed that everything your kids wanted needed batteries, most times not included! The remote also has a button battery installed and all you have to do is remove a small clear piece of plastic that keeps the battery from making contact. The rest is pretty obvious and spelled out on the instruction paper. The remote contains on and off buttons, mode button where the candles light up completely or flicker like a candle. You can choose individual colors or let it go thru all the colors. Well that is about it. Right now all is working well as I hoped they would. Of course, if there is any changes in my opinion, I will come back in and update. Right now I think I have a perfect gift a couple of my friends!🎁🎄

This was an okay deal, price for product-wise, at least it seemed. However, the 2 bigger candles lasted all of 4 nights before the batteries died. That type of performance is terrible and I can't recommend them now.***I have raised my rating to 4 stars because the seller immediately contacted me and worked with me to resolve this issue. They quickly offered a refund and have been prompt and courteous in their support.***

EDIT: Shifting 'mutlicolor; has no 'flicker' option, so you are left picking a color. Timers mean that it shuts off every 4 (or 8 hours) and then start back up every 4 or 8 hours, draining batteries. The real biggie: INSTRUCTIONS SAY CAN NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES! If you change 9 batteries per week (if you plan on using these often), that's a lot of batteries to recycle, or that might end up in a landfill if people don't recycle the spent batteries! I am very disappointed that newer LED products aren't geared toward rechargeable battery use. So I can't give this the 5 star review that I previously gave it. Docked 2 stars. :(Old Review (after first purchase): Beautiful candles. You have to space them a bit apart during the flickering or multi-color, or they start out with the same color rotation and flickering pattern. After a while it does switch up a bit, so they aren't so similar. There's a wide variety of colors to choose from, which is really nice. I like the remote. It's small, which tucks away easily into a drawer or windowsill. It comes with a set of Duracell batteries. I've used these candles for a week now, through one power outage, and they work well. Just as bright as the first day, and I leave them running with the 8 hour shut off timer, every night. They aren't super bright, but they are bright enough to light up our kitchen window.

Received the candles today. Could not be happier with the product or the shipping time. Super bright, beautiful colors I will be using for sheltered outdoor jack o lanterns and then inside. Love the way the remote works either together or separately amongst the set and I love that depending on the color the candles can be soft and natural or super bright. Only thing that might have made them slightly better was if they flickered but I don't know if this is possible with an LED.

***UPDATE 3-3-16* Turns out it was too good to be true. I had to lower my original 5 star rating down to two, because that's how many of the 6 candles I bought still work. Of those two, only one will change color, and the other turns itself off as soon as I set it down. It's a shame because they were so nice when they were all lit up around the perimeter of the room - they were perfect with some ambient light and some chill jazz. I can't recommend these any more as they simply do not last and started failing towards the end of the second week. Also, worth noting, you MUST turn off the candle by the switch on the bottom if you're not going to use it for any length of time because the batteries WILL drain very quickly. It almost kind of defeats the purpose of having the remote.***********************************************************************************************Much nicer than the other types of flameless multi-colored candles I've tried. The product looks like a candle, feels like a candle, and doesn't stand out for looking obviously fake. It flickers or emits a steady glow, and the color is quite nice. The picture on box is pretty much exactly what you get.I ordered another set immediately after testing out the first. Would definitely recommend.
