Deluxe Walking Foot - Low Shank for Kenmore Sewing Machines

Either the one I got was seriously defective, or it is a fake walking foot. The feed dog goes up and down as it should, but it does not pull the material. Instead it passively rides along with the fabric. It is not active, but rather creates the illusion that it is. In other words, the fabric pulls the feed dog rather than the other way around. Also the surface finish is very poor with crudely finished sharp edges. Not a good thing for a foot that contacts fabrics. Overall, the metal is thin and soft and easily bent. This seems like a fake walking foot to me. With a quick glance It is almost convincing, but fails its intended function. It is not quality, but it is priced like it is.

So thrilled with this package! It was shipped double-boxed, and tightly wrapped in cellophane. Everything was perfect...no mars, no dings...perfection! Great quality and value for the money. I will be re-ordering and telling all my artsy friends!

I have an old machine, so my options were limited.The walking foot was simple to attach and worked great with my baby quilt project!

I loved this walking foot until it stopped working properly. Now the needle hits the foot and breaks. It lasted about 4 months.
