mushie Muslin Baby Swaddle Blanket | 100% Organic Cotton (Tradewinds)

I want to love Mushie products so much! Based on their stock photos and my order history, I do. The issue is that they heavily filter ALL of their product images so the product you receive looks vastly different from what you purchased online. I totally get that each brand has an aesthetic and they can tailor their social pages to fit their vibe. The blanket I ordered is fine, it’s a very standard swaddle - nothing spectacular or revolutionary. I ordered it because I wanted a really muted gold color, as pictured in the stock photo. But no. It’s just marigold - like any shade of gold from any other store. Here’s what it looks like in 100% natural light - no ambient lights, filters or edits. Whatever, it’s fine and not that big of deal. My baby isn’t going to need intensive therapy later in life because their gold blanket was the wrong tone. But if your company makes a product that you so clearly want to be a specific color, just make it that color. Right?

We are OBSESSED with these Mushie blankets for both our baby and our toddler. They are sized perfectly to be used as a swaddle, a nursing cover, or a blanket for a toddler bed. The neutral colors are so aesthetically pleasing and they’re soft as can be. Like everything Mushie puts out, the quality is A+.Win - win - win all around.

Wanted to love this swaddle so bad! It is soft and beautiful but I was specifically looking for a dusty rose/mauve-toned swaddle. The image in the ad depicts the color I was looking for but as you can see, when it arrived it is actually closer to a peachy coral. Bummed!

This is my 3rd swaddle and this one in particular is for ME. I loved them so much that I had to get one for myself to use when I’m on my glider on my laptop or once baby is here to keep my legs warm. Great muslin material, washes beautifully (I wash all my baby’s things in cold water) I’m currently using this one to have a light cover up on in the living room since it’s been hot in SoCal. I know my baby will love it too.

I really like this swaddle along with all Mushie products. It’s not the softest swaddle out there but it’s definitely softer than many other muslin swaddles. I ordered this in the color FOG and was disappointed in the color. It is not a light gray or beige, it’s more on the beige side but definitely has a pea green undertone and really stands out when next to anything else that is beige or oat in color. Was hoping for something a bit more natural or gray and not yellow/green tint. It just does not resemble the color on the listing. Going to order pale taupe to see if that color is a bit better for what I'm looking for.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these blankets!!! I purchased two of these blankets by Mushie and I couldn’t be happier. The box that it was sent in was so cute that I didn’t want to take it out of the box and still have yet to throw the box away...silly I know.The quality of these blankets are nothing short of amazing. They are soft, durable (I’ve washed them twice now) and the colors are true to the picture which is a huge plus! It’s hard finding good quality products that fit the description that is provided and these blankets do that. It’s definitely worth the money. I will be purchasing more!!!

I ordered the natural stripe. The packaging was so cute and minimal! The Aiden & Anias muslin swaddles I’ve previous bought are so rough and scratchy so I didn’t have high hopes. But this muslin blanket is SO soft and the product matches the photo. I will without a doubt be ordering more colors because I am so happy with how nice they are! They’re thick enough that they aren’t see through but thin enough they’ll be just enough of a cover for bringing a newborn home in Southern California. So happy with this purchase! If your debating it definitely place your order you won’t be disappointed.

I really wanted to give this product a good review because the material is soft and seems to have good thickness.However......I took it out of the box and found a dark stain at one of the corners. I tried to wash it and it didn't go away. Whatever it is, it seeped through the fabric to the other side as well.
