Elation Lighting Stage Light Unit, Black (SixPar 300)

This is the best LED par I have owned its in a metal housing and is exceptionally bright. The color mixing is seamless and very even. We use these on a stage at my friends club and they are way better than the 500 watt Pars we had in there. They run cool and the entertainers are not baking like they did under the conventional pars.

Our non-profit civic park organization purchased 20 of these Elation SixPar 300s about three years ago, and they get no more than 100 hours of use per year, and the repair bills and shipping to Elation's repair facility in California are eating us alive! I agree they are full-featured, but they are UNRELIABLE. No fewer than 8 of the 20 have required expensive replacement parts, and all but two failures occurred out of warranty. The fixtures blue light elements seem particularly prone to failure. I really wish the SixPars were more reliable because they're nice when they work. If we were making the purchasing decision today, we'd have to go in another direction. Our non-profit just can't afford the upkeep, but we can't afford to replace them all either.
