Made in China. This does not look like a polished wood made of sturdy material like in the advertised pictures. This looks like an extremely cheap piece of wood. It is incredibly lightweight. One would think this would have more weight to it. It feels like this will just snap in half if I sit back on it. It's got a dry appearance to it instead of what looks like a polished stain or coating of some kind in the picture.

First used this product on a meditation retreat and I had to have one for my home. It’s very comfortable and perfect for extended meditative practices.

The chair is nice enough. It has enough lower back support for longer periods. The problems are that it is not incredibly wide and the seat foam develops a grove rather quickly. I recommend it for those looking for this type of chair.

Excellent construction and comfortable. Came fully assembled in a large box. Good value for the money.

For how much the chair costs it does not hold up well. In the several weeks I have had it it already makes a creaking noise and the cushion has detached slightly.

About what I expected the price is steep for the quality and what seems to be one layer of clear coat on it has runny streaks on it,
