Well made, high quality tribute book! Should be appreciated by all fans of modeling or Cindy Crawford!! Highly Rec! 5☆☆☆☆☆
This is a very nice book and overall an excellent tribute to the career and life of Cindy Crawford. Realistically, most fans of Cindy have probably seen half of the photos before this book was released. Some photos may never have been seen before and many have probably been forgotten. However, the quality of the photos and overall feel of the book is impeccable. Can you find some of these photos on the Internet, well of course. Naturally though, having this book is the better alternative. The book itself is huge and feels very solid which eases the pain of the purchase price. I'm sure many people think back to her Pepsi commercial during what I believe was the Superbowl and it's like wow!, where did the time go? Hopefully Cindy knows that her fans and any upcoming models or actresses do appreciate what she has done and accomplished. For any new or old fans of Cindy Crawford this is one for your den, office, coffee table or your favorite book shelf. Highly recommended!!!!

Have always been interested in fashion photography, and this book contains some of the best images of this super model from some of the most iconic photographers ever to swing a camera. So while the book may be of great interest to those who have modelling aspirations, for me it was the chapters about Cindy's experience of working with theses guys. And then there are the images themselves - the book is full of the most exquisite photos that show the timelessness and magic of the B+W image.

Fabulous photos......quick read......
This book by Cindy Crawford is a glimpse of her experiences as a model and towards the end, she discusses how she expanded her brand. I think Cindy is very attractive, smart, and back-in-the-day was a real Super Model. Seeing her photos in Vogue, I remember thinking "that woman is perfect" so I was expecting this book to be something one could sink their teeth into. But it's not.Let me start by stating what is good about this book. The binding: it doesn't have a paper cover, rather, the binding has some texture and her cover photo and back are printed on this binding. Eliminates having the paper cover tear-or-wear as the book is read and put on a bookshelf. Also, the paper quality is really good....somewhat "thick" pages that sometimes have you flipping 2 pages if you're not careful. Next: there are tons of photos in the book, many on one page. Photos that I don't remember seeing -- some are editorial that may not have been previously published. The photos are crisp and clear. There are also pages consisting of a montage of photos so you get many views of Cindy from her beginning years to the last years of her actual modeling career. And she does include many nude photos. For someone who is considering entering the modeling field, take note of this book and see how a real professional does her job. In addition, you will notice that she was not very thin during her career as compared to the stick figures we see today. I'm saying that in a good way because even Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour -- all had curves yet were still top models in Vogue and Bazaar. There's some overkill in this book that, in my opinion prevented me from giving it a 5-star review. First of all, she has 11 chapters (YES, 11 chapters) each devoted to a photographer she worked with. Totally useless -- she could have put that information in 1-2 chapters at best. What would have been a good idea to include is a chapter or two on her experiences working the haute couture in Paris and Milan. She did plenty of those shows and how fun would it have been to read about the process, or the clothes, or what models have to endure working these shows. Nothing about that in the entire book. Also, although this could be considered a coffee table book, there are many, many pages that are not completely covered in verbiage. Most chapters end at 1/3 or 1/2 of the page which of course adds to the volume of the book.Lastly, the book is really her memories of certain photo shoots - each given a chapter (K.D. Lang cover on Vanity Fair; or the shot of her with the python around her neck). This is not a how-to book; it's a trip down memory lane for Cindy -- perfect model with tons of money, perfect husband, perfect kids, perfect life. Other than 1 or 2 incidents that were sour (one was that the photographer Skrebneski shut her out of his life) this book is a Polyanna look at the modeling industry and Cindy Crawford. Nothing wrong with that but if you're thinking this is a meat-and-potatoes book, it's not. Lovely photos, some lovely stories --

FUN & FASCINATING BOOK!
Easy & fun read that literally details how Cindy Crawford became THE Cindy Crawford, who is one of the most iconic models of our generation. It was a fast moving & informative book that showed how her journey into supermodel stardom began & has continued to this day. So cool! The only thing I wish the book did include, however, were more pictures of the people she wrote about who were so instrumental in her career, but I LOVED all the pictures she had in it instead! Such a fantastic book that I literally could not put down.

Shallow, not that interesting
I got this for research purposes but also was looking forward to reading it. I’d always heard that Cindy Crawford was different from other models, more down to earth, a good business woman. Those things do seem to be true, but I’m disappointed by how little she says — about almost anything. It’s pretty much a picture book, and the pictures are good. She worked with some amazing photographers and of course she herself was an excellent model and incredible beauty. I don’t dislike the book, it’s just a little disappointing. I wanted more substance.

Iconico
Bellissimo, davvero.

Excellent

A fascinating book. Love it!
This is a fascinating book. Cindy's story is a lot richer than I'd have given her credit for.But it's the photography that I came for and that does not disappoint. Cindy has shot with many of the photography greats like Richard Avedon and Herb Ritts and the photos she presents here are simply excellent. The choices are great and the reproduction quality is top notch.I read this book cover to cover within a couple of days of receiving it and just loved it. It now enjoys a place of honour in my collection next to Avedon, Ritts, Newton, Unwerth and Penn.
