FANTASTIC!!! And here's why:After spending time and money investing in other brands I had lost all faith in laptops. Faith in terms of keeping cool and running at max capacity without thermal throttling. Temps is the absolute most important thing for me. What's the point of having a laptop with great specs but down clocks due to thermal throttling?I was going from laptop to laptop, testing out temps, applying thermal paste and retesting until I ran into this YouTuber's review. Jarrod's Tech is one of the best reviewers out there for laptops.His reviews are polished, professional and detailed where it matters. I had never heard of this brand before I watched one of his many videos on the Metabox. I was so impressed with the case and cooling, I went online to find something similar here in the US. This lead me to the Pro-Star brand. First time hearing about, seeing it, or even considering purchasing from them.I wanted to be an informed consumer (to the best that I can be) and reviewed many videos and forums and then finally called them directly. The customer service rep was very understanding and informative. They provided me with answers to my many questions.They didn't try to up sell (which I appreciated) and gave me honest replies. So after returning the G7, i promptly placed my order on Amazon. It arrived in a few days and I couldn't be happier.Within the first hour, I ran an XTU stress test. I also noticed that the CPU came slightly undervolted by either 0.5 or 0.05 (can't recall). I was able to lower it further and gained even more benefits with temps. I also went ahead and took the case off to install another M.2 Samsung 970.The heatsink and fans looked awesome and they appeared to be wider than what I'm accustom to seeing (maybe). But regardless, they do their job soo much better than any other brand so far.Absolutely give them call, ask them all of your questions and then buy! This company is amazing and the product is way under the radar. They are far way ahead of other competitors in-terms of building a product that has thermals under control.I've attached two quick pics below while I was adjusting through XTU, but this case and fan keeps things running nice and cool under stress.

It performs very well, very happy. This new version of Windows 10 leaves out the all apps option in the start menu. So you can’t scroll through all your programs. You have to choose a letter that your app starts with. Not the notebooks fault. 4 cell battery not much for a gaming pc but it is mentioned in the description. Would be nice to have an 8 cell though. Value for the money very good. Only had one day but very satisfied so far. Where would we find replacement battery?

Review is 2 hour into using new product. I just got this today. the delivery was super fast. originally was supposed to be here in 3 days and it got here overnight with standard prime rate. We wanted a laptop with a 10-key on the side. I am glad I went with the 17.3 vs 15.6 inch screen. I was worried about the weight as that seem to be the issue in the past but when I got it, I was amazed that it was lighter than I thought. my last pc was a Dell Inspiron for $350 and I got it back in 2013 and it lasted a long time but it was showing its age and I couldn't do any serious stuff on it like work related stuff. It was a good pc when it was on Windows 7 and 8.1 but when I got windows 10 it just got all bogged down and it was time to upgrade. overall I am satisfied with the prostar and I hope it lasts many years. Not knowing anything about this product or brand I did some serious review searching on amazon before buying it and reviewing the Q&A before purchasing it. I love it when companies stand behind their products. It means they care to me. To the future with my new Prostar

This thing works great. Runs Oculus Rift games no problem. Fan is quiet until games get rolling. Runs Photoshop CC and Corel Paint 2020 at 8535+ (48x acceleration) rating!!!! Get a good USB-C hub though. the cheap ones wont connect for some reason. The Totu 12-1 works great on usb 3 and 4k displays. RTX 2060 graphics card display is flawless so far. cant believe how light this poweful laptop is. Added an extra 500gb m.2 for games and apps. speedy! Studio One 4 music studio software works flawless also. saved a bunch $$$ over name brands.

At first I could not boot from USB. Turned out, the root folder has to have the autoboot files for the 'boot from usb' option to show in the BIOS menu. I had to call ProStar support to get that far. But once I did, I was able to flash a non-stock OS onto the laptop.Then the wifi was super slow. I found a blog called '10 S*** Easy Ways to Fix Slow Internet on Windows 10" and did all the ten ways. Long story short, it wasn't ProStar's fault, but Windows 10's fault.EDIT: After using the laptop for a few days, there have been a few minor glitches. The screen will flicker from time to time. It could be an outbound feed to the NSA. Who knows? The audio can be scratchy. The wifi modem can be extremely slow until you reboot. I have installed the latest driver, etc.Hard to believe you can pay so much for something and it won't be perfect.

I did a lot of research and this was one of the best cost to performance laptops available.

I got the machine today and I like it. This is a huge upgrade for me. I am not a gamer so I did not buy it for gaming but for regular use as I prefer a robust, fast computer. The setting up was easy, it came with a flash, windows CD, and a user guide. So far, I am satisfied with the product. The machine does not have CD player so I do not know why it came with a CD.

This is the first gaming laptop I have bought. When I received the laptop I noticed what looked like light shining from the left side of the screen. I decided to return for a new one. The customer service here is awesome! I received the new laptop quickly and was even given a $50 rebate for my troubles. This laptop is amazing. Powerful, fast and incredible visuals. I am building a race car simulator and this will be the heart. I have not seen another computer with comparable stats for the money. I would highly recommend.
