Just make sure you have the right battery/camera combo. Worked well for a 12V combined with my Covert AW1-A. Trying to figure out how to disconnect it from the batter still; so far I’ve just left it connected to the battery when charging. IMPORTANT: I keep the battery and little converter box on the cable inside a waterproof box while outside. I’m sure the little box/converter would fry if left in the rain.

It works.
It would be a lot better if it had clamps instead of plugs that only work with a specific type of battery

Keep them dry
I have gone though several over the years I have 3 cameras and they just quit working I think water gets inside a causes them damage so I started to coat them with liquid tape right out of the package time will tell if it works. Can’t hurt
