Fantastic nailer!
My metabo 18ga magazine started jamming too much, it was the only issue I had. This Makita with the aluminum magazine is much better. I can feed different length nail strips at the same time without jamming. To break it in I did 200’ of oak door trim/baseboard with 3/4, 1 1/4 and 2”. There were only 3 misfires in all and probably from hitting a drywall screw hidden below. I’m pleased with every aspect of this gun with the exception of no rapid fire selection. That’s quite alright though.

Outstanding!
Makita 5/8” - 2" 18 Gauge Brad Nailer,. I was going to buy an inexpensive brad nailer from my local Fright hardware store, but I thought that I should buy something that I could pass down to the next generation as my father always did. I purchased this Makita 2” brad nailer as it had ratings of 4.7 out of 3,170 reviews. So, I thought you can’t beat that. My goodness is this one amazing nailer. Rubber grips and even the blue logo on the side is also rubber so if you set it down on something nice or a piece of furniture it won’t scratch it. It fits your hand like a glove and functions so smoothly. I will never regret spending more money just to have something that is so nice to use for what I need, but knowing that it will easily pass on down to probably my grandson makes the extra expense worth every penny. I will never shy away from a tool that I know will be used and appreciated going forward. It is truly a fantastic 18 gauge brad nailer. You won't ever regret buying this air brad nailer.

Love the nailer
My Dewalt Brad nailer that I got for free, just died, and since I own several Makita tools I decided to buy a Makita Brad nailer. Wow, am I impressed!!! This lightweight nailer fits my hand perfectly, great grip. This is so easy to operate, easy to load, and never a misfire. I know everyone hears this a lot, well it’s a Makita, enough said, can’t go any better, but it’s true. Well made, well thought out, durable, and the Makita name. The damn thing even looks good. I love this nailer, and actually want to replace my finish nailer with a Makita. 5+ stars

Makia Makes Quality, Dependable Tools!
This pin nailer is everything one could ask for in a nailer this size, except the weight. I'm not saying that it is especially heavy, but it is heavier than the equivalent Hatachi pin nailer that it replaced.I like that it comes in a plastic case that affords spare room for my pneumatic oil and some pin nailer. The nail depth is easily adjustable without the need for any tools.Makita is a great manufacturer of tools. This one is a keeper!

Accurate
This brad nailer is well made, allowes accurate placement of nails, no misfires(dry fire) that I can tell. It feels great in the hand, not too light, not heavy. First job of the gun was trimming a whole house(1400lft) and made my job that much easier.Compared to its competition H bought from the Lbox, the magazine is loading the nail strip tight and doesn't jam every few 10s of nails. That was frustrating, loose plastic magazine wobling and shaking. This Makita nailer has none of that, top notch gun and very reasonably priced, good value. Buy without regrets.(A word of caution: this is my second gun of the same, the first one arrived unable to sink the heads of nails, no matter what was adjusted, air pressure or depth setting. Was promptly returned, and the second one received works great.)

Well built nailer
Love this Brad nailer. Doesn’t jam if it does likely the nail quality. Light, well built, and just an overall quality nailer.

My first nail gun. Happy so far!
Just bought my first nail gun. After a ton of research, I narrowed it down to a few, including the Makita, a DeWalt, a Bostitch, and a couple of others. Ended up going with this one partly based on reviews, also price, and also I really can't lie: I like Makita color :) there, I admitted it! I was getting a Makita compressor so I decided why not go with same brand for the gun. Happy with it. Works as expected. Easy to set up. No misfires yet, but probably only shot 20-30 brads with it so far.
