Zipper on side to put on and take off
I really like how these look. They have a zipper on the side so you do not have to untie them , just unzip to take off and put back on. The laces are to adjust the tightness and it even has a place for the tied laces , with velcro to hold them out of the way and keep them from coming untied. The bottoms have a good grip and I'd say a medium thickness of a sole. These shoes look like they would be heavy but they are very light. Thick and sturdy around the ankles. Very well made.

soft but robust
Bought these to survive the midwest winter. Just after receiving these, had the first snow of the season and I got a chance to wear these boots. I had to clean the drive way, pathway and my car. I took out my new boots and thought of giving a try. These boot look robust and sturdy but inside is soft and good cushion. I was able to wear them easily and the side zip made it more comfortable to wear. After wearing these boots I went out to clean the snow and these were very comfortable, light weight. I didn't feel any pain or stiffness in the boots while walking and it was very comfortable to walk with these boots. I didn't feel any cold inside the feet and these shoes were waterproof. The grip on the ground was great. I was cleaning for more than and hour and didn't feel any pain compare to my previous boots where 15 mins used to give me pain in the ankle and arch. Next day i wore them on my way to work. I have to walk for almost a mile to my office and it was a comfortable walk in these shoes. Had the perfect grip on the ground and no slipping or skidding. The side zipper makes it comfortable to open and wear back. no need to untie the laces and just slip on and off using the side zipper. very happy with the performance. I hope these last long and I don't have to worry about boots anymore.

Well designed boots
These are some of best designed boots I have tried. Lots of little things that make it easier to use like intuitive pull tabs, figure eight rings that maintain shoelace tension when using the side zipper, and a cover for the knot so that it doesn’t come undone. Looks great too. Material wise, all the shoelace rings are some type of molded plastic, seems pretty sturdy but I would have liked to have metal rings. The boot itself is made from synthetics with stiff reinforcements in the right places to support the ankle.

Lightweight & comfortable boots
These boots are so lightweight and comfortable they almost feel like sneakers. The treads are deep and slip resistant. The side zipper makes them very quick & easy to put on & take off. They have a small pocket to tuck the shoe laces into so they don’t get in the way. I wear boots often and these boots are very comfortable to wear all day. I’m very happy with these boots.

very comfortable
Excellent purchase, very comfortable and light weight with excellent support. Wear them daily for 10 hours and no foot issues. Very pleased with the overall quality.

Comfortable, no grinding feet
Please forgive me for wearing it for a week before I came to comment. Please tell me how I feel. The air permeability is good and the upper part is waterproof.Since I have foot sweat, I have high requirements on the breathability of the shoes. I am very satisfied with this kind of shoes.It is suitable for me to travel outdoors or physical training.

Watch out for mud!
like 'em! I bought them to wander around in the woods and they do just fine. The zipper seems to be good quality and it makes it a lot easier and quicker to get the boots on your feet. They are stable in the rough - good ankle support. Good grip on slippery places too. I'd avoid running around in creeks with these since they are not at all water resistant.One downside I've found. The soles are enthusiastic mud huggers. They love mud and tend to offload it in the house, which of course will get you in trouble! A word to the wise...All in all, good looking and well made for the money. Glad I got these!One person found this helpful
