I love this product! I use it in my fountains and also in my Rain Barrell. Until I started using it the fountains would clog up with all kinds of gunk causing my fountains to stop running. It's kept the water nice and clear and they're super easy to use. Just pop a few tablets into the water a few times a year and poof -no more gunk! The birds and my dogs even drink from the fountains without any issues or illness. It is definitely pricey but worth the money! WAYYY cheaper than replacing fountains every year!

I've been using this product for almost 2 years in my backyard goldfish pond of about 800 gallons. Being outside, there is a constant deposit of leaves from shrubs and trees, which left the water quite murky at times, even with my biofilter and UV clarifier in operation. Within a week of starting MuckOff every 3 months, the change in water clarity was notable.

This works ok. Nothing super amazing, but does help some. We use this in a small duck pond which gets pretty gross pretty quickly. It does cut down on some of the muck, but does not totally clear it up. There are cheaper options out there and do the same thing in my opinion.

I really wanted this product to work. I used it in my pond a few times (following the manufacturer's directions), but I couldn't see a difference, so I decided to run a little experiment. I scooped up a mixture of about half muck and half water from the bottom of my pond and put it in a one gallon container beside the pond. I put in one tablet (which is 166 times the recommended strength) and waited two weeks. After two weeks, there was no difference. There was the same amount of muck in the container, but algae had also started to grow up the side of the container. So, it didn't work at all -- even when using over 100 times the recommended concentration.

WOW! This product literally saved my small inground pond. I could see the muck on the bottom then my pond began getting very cloudy. After some research I decided on this product. It did not disappoint. Within less than 24 hours my pond so almost completely clear. Very pleased with the results.

It’s very effective with my little bird fountain that is run by an aquarium pump. Keeps the water fresh without harming the birds and keeps the muck at bay. Good stuff.
