Admittedly,I am a fan. Not a real huge fan,you know the kind, but hey, I like his music. Don't have many of his albums, in fact come to think of it, I don't have any. I used to, but not anymore. Nevertheless, this concert I enjoyed. Its all Vegas, which you can't complain about. Great sets, excellent acoustics, brilliant clear pictures. All good. The concert itself, I thought was great. I felt like I was part of the show. I was involved with the stories and right into the music.I've read the reviews and adding mine to the mix I would have to say it's well worth having your own copy. I don't believe anyone would be disappointed, in fact the opposite. Its a brilliant show, well worth repeating time and time again.Highly recommended, just seat back and enjoy the music and passion.

I love love love all of his music! I would love to see him in person again but I don't think that's going to happen in my lifetime. It would be nice though

If you are in any way a Barry Manilow fan, or a "Fanilow", you better not miss this one! I can be super critical sometimes, but watching this DVD is just a pure joy! Barry has decided that he will tour no more, so if your like me and can't afford a trip to Las Vegas to see him in person this is our treat. It is a very well put together show and is very entertaining from start to finish. The second DVD is icing on the cake! It's a "how it's done" story of the concert or show if you wish and well worth the watch. Those who say the were disappointed in this DVD must have had a bad day. My advice is watch it again. I have been a Barry Manilow fan since before he was famous and I still think he is the "ultimate showman!" Try it...you'll like it!

Last July, I was in Las Vegas and saw Barry Manilow's show "Manilow - Music and Passion".. It was his best yet. (And I have seen him live 4 previous times.) This DVD is a great rememberance of that evening, as it is taped from the live performance.Barry Manilow is one of the best live performers I have ever seen. His enthusiasm and excitment spill out into the audience. The audience also gets involved in his performances, by singing along with his songs. He has an excellant band and back up singers as wellAny Barry Manilow fan will enjoy this DVD. I recommend it highly.

I have been a Barry Manilow fan for 30+ years. I have been to many concerts. This dvd is awesome. The music is to die for, yes I said die for. It is worth every penny. He has aged gracefully and still has a very powerful voice. I wish him many more years of bringing music into our lives. I also purchased from Amazon the First Television Specials. They will take you back a few years. I highly recommend these dvds to any Barry fan out there. You won't be sorry.

Wieso gebe ich Music and Passion von Barry Manilow volle 5 Sterne ? Weil es ein verdammt gut gemachtes Live Konzert ist. Es ist zwar eine Inszenierung von A bis Z, aber so perfekt gemacht. Das ist eben das Show- und TV-Geschäft in Amerika. Wer sowas mag, der hat an dieser Doppel-DVD eine echte Freude. Ich bin auf Barry Manilow wieder zurückgekommen, nachdem ich mir sein Album Night Songs gekauft habe. Das finde ich so klasse, dass ich mir nun Music and Passion gekauft habe. Das Konzert auf der ersten DVD geht ca. 101 Minuten. Der Ton und die Bildqualität sind sehr gut, wie man das von amerikanischen PBS Produktionen gewöhnt ist. Man bekommt wirklich interessante Einblicke, wie so eine Las Vegas Show abläuft. Vor allem mir gefällt die dazugehörige Dokumentation zur Las Vegas Show. Da erzählt zum Beispiel Barry Manilow ungeschönt, wie es ist, wenn plötzlich seine Stimme während der Konzerte versagt und nicht mehr zurückkommt. Diese Doku finde ich verdammt ehrlich.Das Konzert selber ist eine Zeitreise durch die Musik Amerikas ab den 50er Jahren. Sogar Elvis ehrt er im Konzert mit seiner Version von "If I can Dream".Wer also etwas Las Vegas daheim haben möchte, der sollte sich diese Doppel-DVD von Barry Manilow zulegen.

Ich muss mich meinem Vorredner anschließen, diese(s) DVD (Set) ist auch für mich einer der besten Konzert-/Showmitschnitte/-Dokumentationen, die ich je gesehen und gehört habe. Hier beweist Barry Manilow einmal mehr, dass er zur Elite im Showbusiness gehört. Der Mitschnitt ist von Anfang bis Ende bunt, schrill, knackig unterhaltsam, spannend, und erlebt keinerlei Tiefpunkte. Ein Highlight ist auch die Dokumentation - nicht nur für Manilow-Fans.

I LOVED THE DVD, BUT IT DOESN'T PLAY VERY WELL, THE DVD WAS DAMAGED IN SEVERAL AREA, WHICH MAKES THE DVD STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF ALMOST EVERY SONG......
