These float on the top of the water. If secured to a fishing line, they can suspend your hook and bait at a predetermined depth as to increase your chance of catching a fish. Once a fish eats the bait, this bobber becomes ineffective due to the fact the fish generally pulls the bobber under the water. When this occurs, I like to begin reeling the fish in. After removing the fish and applying a new bait, I cast the line back out and the bobber seems to become effective once again at suspending the bait at the desired depth. Unfortunately, this cycle is broken again once a fish nabs the bait. This process continues until I get too fatigued and decide to leave the fishing location

I fish every morning if the weather is okay and these bobbers are working fine. I've lost three so far but it's from the line breaking with catfish or bass.

just opened the package and went to use only to find all the plunger tips are so buried in the ball you can not attach it to the line they are useless crap and since it is just past thirty days i bet i will not get refunded

Not sure what I expected you definitely get what you pay for.... had to throw out about 8 of them because the wire part was not up to par. These were for fishing kits for Operation Christmas Child.

These are fishing bobbers they do not hook on the string worth a damn you don't even get a 1-star vote from me what a waste of plastic

These things are cheap cheap cheap. First one out of the bag hooked up ok but the hooks were quite difficult to pop out and back in. Second one the hooks wouldnt pop out as the link between them was not connected. The third one the hooks were too straight to keep line attached. I just threw them in the trash instead if trying more of them.

Great variety of sizes on this pack of bobbers!! A must have for anyone that fishes!

These were way tinier than I expected.... but they work fine.
