Works Very Well
I used this to wire a Garmin 35 dash cam. I mounted the cam at the top of the windshield just to the left of the mirror. The wire ran under the front edge of the headliner and under the trim beside the airbag on the left A pillar ending up at the fuse box at the left side of the dash. The box in the middle of the wire has a sticker advising that it needs to be able to breathe, and it's in free air under the dash. The ferrite bead near the mini USB plug was not an issue. I used an add-a-circuit fuse to make a neat installation. The This was done on a 2016 Silverado. This cable is good quality and I would purchase again.

Works Great!
I recently purchased a Cobra dash cam. It works great, but the power adapter caused static on my FM radio. This one doesn't. Installation was very neat. I was able to route the cable under the A-pillar cover and above the headliner with ease. Only the last 6 inches of the cable hangs down from the roof and is barely visible.

Great In almost Every Way - But----
Its a crying shame that whoever engineered this item made the cable length between the USB Plug in and the box 18" to short. This is a great and well made product that works perfectly with Garmin 10 dash cams and other Garmin devices (going directly to record on start up of the dash cams without a forced decision to avoid mass storage). Anyone who has used a Garmin with other third party direct wiring connectors knows that you inevitably forget to push the button and drive for a while without recording. Murphy's law makes it a sure thing that if you have an accident it will be when you forgot to start the recorder. On top of that this vendor is great, they process orders immediately and the item arrives well before the Amazon estimate. In addition they notify you directly when they ship and they provide an accurate delivery date (very quick). This product screams for a 5+ rating . But ----- The cable between the box and the USB plug in is to short to route across the top of the window, down the pillar to the point it can slip behind the dash to the fuse box. The box ends up hanging beside the dash being crunched between the door and the side of the dash. This is on a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. It is a big vehicle but similar to most full size pickups and smaller than some large SUV's. The shortage is about 8 inches on the Nissan. Due to other reviews I knew this before ordering and I spliced in 18 inches of wire in the area needed. With that done the installation was quick and the wire and box are totally hidden from view and the item still works perfectly. The decision to make that wire to short was a glaring false economy because many buyers would not take a chance on splicing the wire. That eliminates a large market segment of SUV's, Pickups, and older large cars for a few cents worth of extra wire. Can't believe a product this good could incorporate such a poor design decision. If you have a small vehicle, can splice in some wire, or don't mind the box hanging outside the hidden channels, this is still the best option for Garmin Dash Cams and as stated everything else is top notch

Nice car charging cable
this worked perfectly when installing my dash-cam in my vehicle i didn't want to use the cigar lighter adapter and have the cables just dangling this item allowed me to hide the cables and splice into a power and a ground - Perfect!

Good deal
Working great. Works fine with my Garmin dash cam 35. I'd read reports that it would not turn on to recording mode with non Garmin power accessories. Not so with this one, it powers up and beings recording as soon as I start the car.

Do not trust this thing to work as advertised
I bought this thing so that I would not have to repeatedly connect the Garmin power supply to the power outlet in the car and to my Garmin 20 dash Cam. I remove the power wire when I park so as to lessen the chance that a thief might see the wire hanging down from the camera and then break into the car to get the camera. The first EDO Tech power supply that I bought made intermittent connection with the camera so the camera would repeatedly turn on and then off. I returned the defective wire to Amazon and ordered another. Before I did the entire install I connected the wire to a 12 volt source and then to the camera to see if the camera would start in data mode. The camera started OK so I spent another $10 on a fuse tap and fuses. After finding a terminal that would power on and off with the ignition I did the full install with the wire hidden in the head liner and windshield pillar. I noticed that the control box (?) had vents so I did the installation so that the control box was in open air to prevent overheating. The camera worked OK for the first ten or so times that I used the car. However, today while I was out, I came into an area where traffic suddenly stopped without warning, people were running across the road and there was general chaos. I check the camera. It was in data mode waiting for a response. If I had not been so fortunate as to see what was going on and being able to stop in time, the EDO tech power supply that caused the camera to go to data mode would have negated the entire reason that I bought the camera – to have proof of what had happened. I am beyond the return window so all that I can do is warn others that the EDO Tech power supply cannot be depended on to work all of the time.
