Good growth
Spawn isn't fully colonized but is growing. Spawn has a good amount of mycelium and is growing more. I would buy again.

these are alive!
The grain arrived with little bits of white stuff on them, not very far advanced, or a few days past its prime. But not contaminated. In a ziploc bag. It is growing in 3 different substrates: 1. In the petri dish: agar agar + honey + NPK (day 6 & day 9) 2. In the jar: brown rice (day 9) 3. (not shown) in the bin with the goal of fruiting: vermiculite, compost, coffee grounds, coco coir I'm having trouble kickstarting the grain spawn in the bin, but it may have been too dry. No matter, now I have plenty and I can easily start that up again with my newly grown spawn. Big progress in week 2. Week 1 was quiet but definite growth. Healthy and not contaminated. I highly recommend this. It works.

UPDATED PHOTO. Dry Grains In a 84 degree zip lock bag in a box.
UPDATED! I got this to go to agar finally. Then got it to go to coffee, gypsum, vermiculite. When i tried this from the grains I got trichoderma. I honestly waited awhile before posting this. I wanted hate it right a way just based on delivery. It's warm out, I'm in the garage and see the delivery guy. Awesome timing, thank him, open the box..... it's a half sandwich size zip lock bag. Individual seeds that looks like someone forgot spawn in a shoe box for over a year then found it and thought... I'll just sell it. But i don't know how to grow them so I'll just Google a 8x10 on how to industrialized the composting process. In the past I've received (from better sources) spawn that looks overcolinized almost and has cool packs with them and there ask wrapped up and also comes in a vacuum sealed grow bag so you don't initially think....contamination central. So far however I've had some success. I decided to make 5 trials each in. 1.coffee substrate, gypsum, vermiculite 2. North spore manure substrate 3. Coconoir substrate, 2 with manure 3 with coffee for nitrogen source, gypsum. Each in a viviarum designed for fungi. #1 I'm getting signs 2 weeks later of good mycelium growth in 1 pod. None in 2. 2 have been lost to contambras. #2 quickly colonized but each was lost eventually. 1 of them was entirely my fault. Shame that. #3 full on funky flunky. It just melted the pods. All of them, in less then 3 days. Oh! The smell was like gym locker foot wear soaked in ammonia with a distinct crumbling ancient mansion mixed in. Overall I'm surprised I've got any hopefuls. But i wouldn't cut your teeth on this purchase

disappointed.
Not what I expected. I wanted what I have used before - a box of soil that required only water. No instructions, even on line. No response to my review. These were going to be Christmas gifts for my elderly friends. They would not like these.

I hope my mushrooms grow soon
The 100 Grams of White Button Mushroom Spawn Mycelium arrived when expected in a snack size ziplock bag. The grains were fully inoculated and ready to plant. It came with a paper that lead me to their website with full growing instructional videos. I couldnt figure out how to store them or how long they would last in the bag so I planted them right away. It would be nice if they could add that instruction also. I hope to have my mushrooms growing soon. Its always fun to try new things. If you plan on growing these you may want to make sure you have straw and cow manure ready in advance. Best of luck on your mushroom adventure.

Mushroom seeds
After tje better part of a year of trying to grow these mushrooms, I have still not seen anything grow.I have followed the directions.I have even taken advice from other growth centers and nothing would not recommend these seeds. Grow center believes that the seeds were bad.
