I love this Application Bible because it explains what the verses means and how it applies to you and life and it's excellent and easy to learn God's written word for you in recent times and in the biblical times. Every time you study the Bible, you learn something new. Amazing!

Bought these Bibles for my sons' birthdays and they really enjoy them. The only thing is that the paper is so thin, but that seems to be an issue with all of the Bibles these days. They enjoy the history and extra content on each page. Very good Bible overall.

I am very pleased! I hope this description helps. If you want to study the Bible, and you want to I have a better understanding of what is being said, so you may have a closer relationship with God; this is definitely your guide. I was impressed with the detail and how descriptive the side notes are. It explains some of the meanings of many of the verses so it’s more understandable. Everything that’s advertised to be in this Bible is in here and more. It also gives great examples and suggested actions to become a better Christian. The pages are thin like many Bibles and needs to be respectively treated with care. This Bible is a little larger and heavier than I anticipated. For me that’s not a problem. However, for some carrying this Bible into church every weekend could be cumbersome due to its size and weight. I would say it weighs roughly about 5 pounds. A highlighter will bleed through these pages. I am using an acid free gel highlighter that does not bleed through. A pencil highlighter will work as well. I am very nearsighted and have an astigmatism. The large print is easy enough for me to read without glasses. With the all the wisdom and information in this bible, I found this to be a great deal and a blessing. I should not have to ever buy another again.

By far one of the best study bibles ever. I operate off this during all my studies. I do use NKJV but I use this at the same time. I love how it gives you the timeline, a map and is very detailed. It has life application along with an explanation of what that verse means. This study Bible is NIV. I absolutely love it. Fair warning the large print edition is heavy. If you are looking to take it with you I would probably go with a personal size.

This has it all! I got large print for me and regular print for my daughter. Large is heavy but soft cover makes it easy to manage. We both love this study version

This Bible smelled good out of the box. Leather smells good!The Bible has everything you need in it to have a closer relationship with Christ!The large print is super easy to read for my husband and myself as we are a little older now.It weigh about 4 lbs!The tabs are nice for easy and fast finds!!This is a great study Bible!It will not disappoint you!

This bible is so well put together with so much information to help me study. It has references, cross references, explanations, maps, timelines and so much more. I previously had been using my NIV Study bible that was bought for me by a friend in April 1994. I love that bible so much and have learned so much from it. But I came across this NIV Life Application Study bible and saw how well it was put together with so much more information to help me learn even more and the price is a bargain compared to how much my first study bible cost. Anyone looking for a really good study bible should buy this one. It has so much information that is worth more than the price you pay.

This is a beautiful bible with a readable sized font. It is very well made. The only thing that keeps me going back to my previous bible is the weight of this one. It is heavy. I mean, the weight is uncomfortably noticeable. I place a pillow under it when sitting on the couch or just opt to study at a table to take the weight off my hands and wrists. It's a very nice Bible, but you will feel the weight of it when holding it for just a short period of time.

I had such high hopes for this study bible! It's Life Application study bible 3rd edition after all.The content is still quite awesome! But printing quality is too awful. The paper is so thin and see through, and you can see a lot of ghosting. I have severe astigmatism, it's just hard for me to see on the text let alone to read and understand it. I don't know the reason the 3rd edition has been moved from Tyndale to Zondervan. But I think I will trust Tyndale more than Zondervan.I have returned NIV large print from Zondervan for the same reason.Really disappointed! The only hope I have is Thomas Nelson would do a NKJV version of life application.Now I'm looking at NIV Biblical Theology Study Bible by D.A.Carson. It's also from zondervan I don't know whether I should take the chance.Zondervan please please fixed the ghosting issue, so we could study NIV better.
