Waterproof, Without An Added Rain Fly
I have this Nelson-Rigg SE-3060 Black/Grey Hurricane Dual Sport/Enduro Waterproof Tank Bag installed on a pair of CSC motorcycles, a 2015 RX3 and 2020 RX4. I was looking for something completely waterproof, with no need for an extra cover, that could fit a Nikon D3500 DSLR with an installed 18-140 mm zoom lens and this fills the bill. There is just enough room for the camera with the lens installed, with some other odds and ends thrown in, while the bag is not so large that it blocks any of the bikes controls or the view of the instrument cluster. This is a strap mounted bag only; it does not have any magnets for mounting to steel fuel tanks. The bag attaches to the straps with plastic quick release buckles. The straps have elastic keepers that join them together in pairs and prevent them from falling down into the frame of the motorcycle when the bag is removed. The zippers are waterproof and thus stiff; there is also a lip of material that folds down over the zippers for further water resistance if needed. I keep mine folded up mostly, to allow ease of use of the zipper. The materials used appear to be high quality, with no issues with any of the stitching that I could find. The bottom of the bag is very soft, to avoid marring the paint on the fuel tank. There is an adjustable internal divider that is held in place by velcro so you can segregate things into two different sized compartments, if you so desire. The internal dimensions are 8"L x 5"W x 4"H. Total internal volume is 2.6 Liters. Also, the clear map cover is touchscreen friendly, so you can slip your phone of GPS under it and still be able to use it. This is a great choice if you are too lazy to be bothered with a separate rain fly, as provide with most standard nylon tank bags, as I am. I've had things get damp or wet one time too many, thus from here on out I am spending the extra money to get waterproof tank bags from the get go. FYI - Nelson Rigg also makes a larger version, the SE-3070 that holds 11 Liters, if you need more volume. They also make a set of replacement straps, if yours get damaged or if you want to use one bag with multiple bikes. You have to order them from their site directly.

Nelson rigg tank bag.
Put on my honda crf230f. Fit great. Easy installation. Just the right size. I Can still slide forward. My phone works fine under the clear plastic and like the waterproof feature. The excess on the straps is kind of a pain to deal with but not much of an issue. This is my second nelson rigg product and i find them to be good quality and reasonably priced. Really like this tank bag.

Nice Bag....fitment a bit off for R1250GS
This is a nice product and clearly a robust waterproof bag. The fitment could be a bit better for the BMW GS but it is not too bad and the bag is perfectly functional. I'm sure it probably fits better on other Adventure Bikes but it's good for the price!

Definitely water proof and great quality
First I was looking for a tank bag for my A/T when I came across Rigg Gear bag for the price thought I would take a chance and glad I did, it took me a little while to get it installed like I wanted to but once installed and adjusted it was a great fit. Really like the appearance of it and quality is great the zipper is a little stiff to begin with but loosens up some but would rather have a good quality one than something loose and breaking on me. I have ridden in a really hard rain and no leaks so waterproof yes all my things were dry. Like the straps and the quick release which once properly installed can be reconnected easily. The only thing like the other reviews is that I wish it was a little bigger then it would be a really great tank bag. Would definitely buy again if they did because overall a great product.

Worth the investment
Hands down my favorite addition for my adventure motorcycle. Great quality, durable and very spacious. Was apprehensive about the price but it has been well worth it and i have since purchased a Nelson Rigg 60L duffle.

Very large bag
Once again Nelson Rigg built another quality bag. I am not big on tank bags, but they are very convenient to access compared to a tail bag. This bag is quite large, maybe too big until I get comfortable with it. I like the position and the quality of the straps, the adjustable divider, zipper pocket inside as well as the material which seem to be waterproof, but haven’t tested. The clear map window which is supposed to be touch screen friendly didn’t work for me the first day for some reason, but is working now (could be phone related or user?).In order to make the lid waterproof there is a flap that goes over it, so it takes two hands to unzip it. Overall a good purchase, but I might consider a smaller bag in my preference.

It's a good bag, juts too big for my 4 fitty.
The biggest problem with this thing is is that it's just a little bit on the big side for a CRF450 Honda. I took the stiffener and the divider thingamajig out and that made it a lot more easy for it to be scrunched and pushed and smashed around if you don't fill it. It tends to crumple down just a little bit which is what I want I needed, something a little bit bigger then what I had and taking the inside out gave me more room and I expect to come off the bike a little easier without catching a boot. It doesn't fit on quite as nicely as my small 4 liter Nelson Rigg Hurricane but again take that silly padded thing out of the middle, it just velcro's in and throw it away. If it came without the stiffener I'd give it 5.

Rigg Gear is fantastic! Honestly the quality and design features are fantastic for the price. You could expect to pay more for a premium brand and not get the same quality product. The mounting straps fit securely around crash bars or other points on the bike. Super strong zipper with a flap to keep out dust. It's big enough to keep the essentials and a bit more. My only beef is that if I want to ride without the tank bag I need to remove the straps that it buckles into. I don't want to risk them flapping around like a fish on dry land. I looked at making a strap that would secure them in place but in the end I just contacted the manufacturer directly. They were super helpful and agreed to send me the buckles I needed to secure the straps together when the bag is not on the bike. I just needed to pay shipping. Great product, great customer service and the price beats other competitors. I also have the soft panniers and have been very very happy with them on many rides.

I used this product on my bike, a Honda CB500X 2023 model and it looks good. Able to keep your wallet, gloves and sunglasses comfortably and tested in very heavy downpour typical of the equator. Material is durable and i feel that it can withstand a lot of abuse. Definitely will recommend it.

Fitted to my 2021 KTM 690 Enduro that has the Rade underseat tank. Perfect size for putting essentials in, doesn't interfere when standing on the pegs and appears to be well made. Very happy with the purchase.
