Flavor and texture will seem unusual. Nothing like regular Gouda. It is beyond delicious. We discovered aged Gouda at the restaurant at the Rijksmuseum. We adore this cheese. Price is very fair.

Gouda is one of the fine wines of the cheese world already a tasty cheese when fresh, this is one that ages well, and just keeps taking a more and more complex flavor as time goes on. At six months it has already begun to evolve into something special, and by 2 years it's like a completely different cheese.This 4-year old is exceptional -- rich, creamy, with a definite texture. It is almost like a savory candy, and something quite appropriate for special occasions.My first order of this was destroyed by a Fed Ex foul up which kept it in their heated office for over 9 days, despite the "Perishable" label on the package. When I contacted the seller they immediately remedied the situation, sending a replacement by a different courier, impeccably packed, which arrived in 48 hours.Great cheese; great customer service.If you've not tried an aged Gouda, treat yourself to this one, from this excellent seller.

Love the flavor, but it dried out very quickly. I also received my order in several small chunks instead of one wedge of cheese. That probably contributed to it drying out so quickly.

I’m embarrassed to admit how many times I’ve ordered this cheese. It’s the best aged Gouda I’ve ever had, far better than the most famous brand. Perfect flavor, lots of crystals! It always arrives very quickly and with plenty of cold packs and packaging; however, I live in the south and personally, I know better than to order cheese during the hottest part of the year. Haha.

This is absolutely the best aged Gouda I have ever tasted; it is superb. The price was fantastic, it was shipped quickly and lovingly wrapped with the addition of cool packs. I am in heaven as I nibble this cheese. Thank you so much for offering this product.
