Beautiful but fragile
This is a soap stone jewellery holder. It is spacious and can be used in multiple ways (tea light holder, candy or tissue holder, keep sake box). The design is finely carved which also makes the box very delicate. The drawback was that the lid hinges were not fixed securely and the lid often kept falling. One day the lid fell from a very minimal height and broke into pieces. I was fortune enough to glue the pieces using araldite, the glue is visible after drying. I have soft spot for jewellery holders and I see many similar decorative items with intricate designs being sold but I will not purchase such items again. These are fragile and break easily.

The box has a very nice finishing work. It's a bit small for the price mentioned. Overall a fine deal. Can be easily bought if budget isn't an issue.
