Women's Gothic Jacquard Shoulder Straps Tank Overbust Corset Bustiers

I really do like this corset but I will likely wear a bra or silicone inserts with it. It's very long, and rides higher than expected. The bra cups were a little misshapen due to shipping but I'm sure the shape will even out with time. I don't quite fill out the cups which is unfortunate (and why I typically steer clear of corsets with shaped cups) but I'm on the small side of a 30c, the girls ain't very big. I'm not sure if I like the elastic on the straps- the aesthetics of the straps themselves were why I debated for some time between this and a similar corset- but looks-wise I don't dislike them and fit/comfort-wise they're not bothersome. I'm still rating this 5 stars because I do really like it and with some padding it'll fit just fine in the chest area, and the rest of it fits perfectly and looks great. I didn't even mention all the details and little things because I'm limited on time so I wanted to focus on fit, but if you're on the fence just get it! It's really beautiful!

I followed the advice of another reviewer, so I will stress this to everyone else as well. I bought this product to incorporate into a halloween costume. I am going to be the white swan from Swan Lake ballet. I did as another reviewer suggested. If you will measure yourself accurately as instructed in the sizing chart, then this product will fit you just perfectly. I was a little scared about ordering a 2x considering I am 5'10"-5'11", 155lbs and very fit. I normally wear a size small or medium in most clothing items. I just measured myself generously and followed the size chart. It fits perfectly and it is not too tight. The only thing is that it is kind of big for my boobs, but that can be easily fixed with silicone padding. As for the quality of this item, I was very happy with it. It does not look or feel cheaply made. It looks really pretty and it will be perfect for my halloween costume. I will stress this one more time: Follow the size chart and you will be fine. Be sure to measure yourself accurately and do not guess. If I had guessed, I would have ordered a large or extra large and it wouldn't have fit. Follow the size chart, measure accurately and generously and you will be fine. I would say if you're falling inbetween a size, probably go with the bigger size.

This item was a real disappointment. While reasonably well-constructed, the corset is very poorly designed. No matter the size ordered, I cannot imagine it will properly fit anyone with a bra size larger than a small B. There are no true cups in the bust, rather are there flat panels which push one's breasts against the chest cavity, resulting in a very unflattering look. The underwire provides no support whatsoever and, more important, rides too high in the design of the 'overbust' section of the corset, about one-third higher than the bottom of one's breasts. The corset would fit a boy or thin man but it will not properly fit a woman with curves. Meanwhile, the zipper is a disaster. Several times the zipper pinched into my skin while I attempted to zip myself into the corset. Front clasps would be a much better option. Prior to buying the item, I queried the community about the proper size to purchase. The seller himself suggested a Large or X-Large would fit. I thought better, went one size larger on my purchase and still faced frustration and disappointment. Mind you, I am very fit, albeit very tall, woman, measuring 38F-30-41, and should easily fit into any corset measuring the XXL size I purchased. I would have provided pictures but, truth be told, I could not find any way to make this corset conform to my body.

It's pretty and seems sturdy but fits strangely. I'm not tall, but I do have a sort of long torso. I normally wear an 18 or XL-XXL and the 6XL was fine around, but the bust area sat too high for me because the straps were too short. They're stretchy, but not adjustable. I could kind of wrestle the girls into the cups but it wasn't comfortable in the least, and especially not for the concert I wanted to wear it to. Adjustable straps would likely make this usable, but as it is, it's not great if you're fluffy.

I vacillated between ordering a S or M, because there were conflicting reviews regarding sizing. Some reviewers that listed measurements that approximated mine ordered a S, while others ordered a M. Some that ordered a M stated that they could have ordered a S. I finally decided to go with the M, and I'm really glad that I did. I didn't want a wide gap between the ties. There was probably about a 1.5-2" gap at the top and bottom of the corset between the ties, and no gap at my waist. I had it tied comfortably snug - not too tight. The S would likely have had a much wider gap between the ties, and been too small for my breasts, with the underwire likely cutting into my breast. My breasts filled the cups without spilling out excessively, but still looked voluptuous. I'm a small woman; 5' 2.5", 27" waist, 32C, 110 lbs. The zipper definitely helps with getting it on, but you won't be able to tie it that well by yourself; having someone help with it will definitely improve the fit. You won't be able to get into it unless you loosen the ties first. I only gave it 4 stars because the two pieces of fabric that formed the cups were slightly puckered. Otherwise, it's nicely made. Sorry that some of the pics are dark, but I wanted to showcase a few so that shoppers could get a good idea of the fit.

I purchased this to augment my outfit for Renaissance Faire. It’s not authentic, I wasn’t expecting that, especially for this price point, description or synthetic materials. Anyone who does needs to read more before purchasing. What came on my package is finished nicely. It fits as well as could be expected after loosening and then tightening the lacings and it feels relatively comfortable. I absolutely love the colors, texture, and richness of the brocade fabric. It’s pretty to look at. The laces are generous, which allows me to reach behind myself and tighten them up if needed. They are also sturdy, more like shoestring than ribbons. I wasn’t afraid to pull them hard. I’m short waisted, so I spent a little time adjusting the bodice downward when tightening the ties. It wanted to tide up. Once I positioned my top bits into the cups and adjusted them everything stayed put. The only area of design that I felt could be better was the elastic on the shoulder straps. It kind of looks cheap, and out of place. It helps with adjustment and fit. It would look better if hidden. I would recommend this corset for someone looking for a costume option. It exceeded my expectations. I took my measurements and used the manufacturer’s recommendations. I chose a size xxl vs. the medium I usually wear or large recommended by Amazon. I like the fit, I was concerned about significant back showing between the lacing, and the corset almost closes at the back with less than an inch gap showing.

I don't generally spare the time to write reviews but this thing was fantastic especially for the price. I wear a size 10/12 Medium/Large in street clothes, very athletic with some padding. However my boobs are only a medium/large B and are saggy from being a mom, and they are pretty far apart so I rarely can find something that gives me great cleavage. The cups on this are not super padded but they are very close together, and they gave me some of the best cleavage I've ever had. Seriously makes me look like a perky 20 year old prebaby C/D cups (I'm 36 with young twins and the resultant boobs). Other great stuff - the material is very attractive and looks very high quality. It looks like it cost three times what I paid. The corset back makes it extremely adjustable and there is a black fabric panel behind the strings so it looks good even if you need a lot of slack in the strings. Also, it has a zipper running up the side which is AWESOME. No spending 15 sweaty minutes trying to do up 10 eye hooks with your arms aching - put it on loose, zip it up, adjust the strings to the proper tightness, take it off and fix how the strings look, loosen it a tiny bit, put it back on, zip up and pull the strings tight. Relatively easy. Also, the wide shoulder straps are more flattering and make it look appropriate if you want to look really sexy to go clubbing or something. I bought it for bedroom use and you can really show a lot of boob, but if I didn't pull my boobs out as far it would be an acceptable level of sexy to wear in public.

Looks great and feels to be of decent material. The cups are not made for that of a plus size woman. I ordered 2 sizes up figuring i could use the corset back to cinch this bustier, however the bustier is still too small.
