For someone starting out, it's ok but as a portable, I have already replaced the screws with wing-nuts. I use this as a backdrop for animal photography for our Rescue. It's tall enough to place a cat tree in front and get some good shots. Again, as for portability, be careful because it will tip over. take care on how you place the legs.

If you are expecting this to be nice....look at the price. You get what you pay for. The metal parts and the case are nice....but the actual material used for the back drop is junk.

If you are looking for backdrop stands only, then this is a fine product. I was also looking for a white backdrop, so I thought this was a great deal. The backdrops are so cheesy, the white is see through! I was very disappointed and ended up having to use one of my bed sheets for my backdrop. I also recommend buying clamps for this as there was no sleeve for the pole to go through on the backdrops either and they just fall to the floor unless you have enough draped over the top, which you can then see because of the sheer fabric.

The assemble is easy, the stands are light and good bag to transport, but weak when you put it all the way out and all the way up, also fabric wrinkles a lot and on the white you can see through

can see every wrinkle, very thin but stand works great for other purposes if using with your own blankets for background

the stand is nice and easy to assemble.
