I really like this style of clock in my living room. Very easy to read.All these type of clocks will fail sooner or later. There's not much you can do in the mechanism to make it work again when it finally fails except to replace the mechanism box or the entire clock.The price of the clock on Amazon is better than any of my local big box stores and I didn't want to waste my time finding the correct mechanism.

Do not buy. I have had this for a little over a month. The clock still ticks loudly but the hands quit moving. Waste of time and money.

It is loud when the second hand moves. I took it out of my bedroom and swapped it for my quiet living room clock.

The wall clock at our gym quit working, and they weren't going to replace it so I bought this one. It's better than the old one. Super nice big numbers making it easy for everyone to see. Easy to hang.
