A super idea but not that well executed
I bought this for my 1 year old’s birthday. We were also bought another branded mat by someone else so I could compare. Sadly this one doesn’t come out that well. The pens don’t work very smoothly and the effect wasn’t particularly impressive as the mat has a sort of grainy texture.The idea is great but as I paid more for this one than the branded one I don’t think this one is up to much*****edit*****The company have been in touch with me to offer a refund on this item if I delete the review. The item does get used occasionally though not as much as the aquadoodle so a refund isn’t appropriate and my review is a fair reflection of the item.

Not a good bargain
Poorly made pens meant you had to be super forceful to use them, then they splotched out everywhere making drawing impossible, even drawing round the letters to practice those wasn't do able.

Works perfect, just add water and let the kids enjoy
Finally a drawing toy that I don't have to worry about the markers on the furniture or drawing on the table or how to get it off the table! The different colors are on the mat so when you draw you get red, blue, yellow. This was the ideal gift for him! Its water based so there is no mess! Works perfect, just add water and let the kids enjoy.

Different way of painting
Using water to do painting is very good to the environment as it can reused again and again. Also this encourages my son to practice writing numbers and alphabet. I am happy about this.

Helps for learning.
My 3-year-old daughter likes water drawing, it is good for her to learn holding pens. The pictures also helps her to learn counting as well.

My 15m old daughter loves it- so do I!
Big hit for my 15m old. She loves it. For the time being the size fits for her and for the price, can't really go wrong. I will buy a bigger mat when she gets bigger. I'm so happy with it, I recommended this to a few friends who've bought it too and are thrilled.

Fun and safe
Bought this as a birthday gift for a 3yrs old girl and she loves it! The water drawing mat is safe and and easy to clean. The mat can be folded so it’s easy to bring it around and the kid can enjoy drawing anywhere without worrying making a mess.

it is not easy to broken.
This water painting has two or two pens, a thick one and a thin one. It can be recycled as long as it is filled with water. After painting on mat, it can be used as long as it is finished. It is very practical and it is not easy to be torn by children broken.
