Modern Sputnik Chandelier 18-Light Crystal Pendant 43" LED Ceiling Light Pendant, Cut Crystal with G9 LED Bulbs (Black)

This light fixture is beautiful! I am an interior design specialist and I purchased it for a new construction builder model home. It is modern and very high-end looking. I get the most compliments on this light out of all the lighting in the house.

I was hesitant to choose the gold or black color, after checking seller’s videos I decided to go with GOLD color!The instruction is fine to provide necessary steps and it's quite easy to install, I'm surprised the bulbs were supplied and it provides a comfortable warm tone for my living room, this is exactly what I want!The crystal lampshades ware heavier than expected and very good quality, it’s absolute stunning when the lights turn on! Customer service is helpful to answer my questions, I will buy a black one for my bedroom and will update more photos after installation, I would highly recommend this gorgeous chandelier to everyone

Let's get this out of the way first, as a highly skilled craftsman and lifelong DIYer, this fixture ranks as one of the more challenging projects I've tackled for what it is. For me, light fixture installs are generally a breeze, but this one was anything but that. The "instructions" are, shall we say, inadequate. There is no brand on the box or website link you can follow for more detailed instructions. Now we can talk about the quality of the design, structurally speaking that is. It's not great. Keep in mind, the fixture with 18 thick glass prisms is HEAVY! There is a central brass hub that the branches attach to, the hub is not reinforced with any internal spokes, so the entire fixture threads together with standard threaded lamp rod. The weakest point is the decorative cap at the bottom of the whole thing, if that lets go, the whole thing comes crashing down! With an internal spoke system, the light could be bolted inside the hub and the decorative cap can be just that - decorative. Lastly the attachment points at the ceiling also seem a bit inadequate. Much more preferable would be a four pronged bracket with four screw points (two just doesn't seem like enough), or some other reinforcement or attachment system all together. It looks nice though.

If you like to be frustrated with an install because of poor design then this is the item for you. Without a doubt the worst designed light fixture I’ve ever installed. Though the individual parts appear to be made well, the design in terms of connecting all parts together is terrible. The individual branches that connect to the central housing cannot be tightened enough to prevent the branches from feeling loose. No tool other than a pair of pliers will be able to reach inside to tighten the nut onto the branch.The provided nuts are made of such soft mental that they will invariable round over before you can tighten it. The glass covers that fit over the light bulb are held in place by a thin metal shroud and a thin walled nut that threads onto the bulb holder. No matter how carefully you try, this nut will cross thread and loosen the bulb holder from the metal arm which then allows the shroud to become loose and the end result is that the glass cover will never be properly fastened. The design of the flush mount cover is such that you cannot properly reach the cover with the branches in place and the weight of the glass covers makes it incredibly difficult to hold the fixture to the ceiling and attach the thumbscrews onto the machine screen that continues to spin against the gamer bar. Saving grace is that the bulbs slip in easily enough and look great when turned on. I am not sure if that’s because the bulbs I used were a separate purchase. The included bulbs are non-dimmable.

We just finished installing this stunning chandelier. It is really beautiful ! I ordered an angle adaptor’ as we have a sloped ceiling and it worked perfectly. This chandelier needs a professional or someone with great patience and extra help. My husband is an engineer and it still took us over two hours to install. Tip.... do not add crystals until the light is already installed. Each one is heavy!. It is not difficult, just time consuming. It actually dimmed to two levels with the lights that were included. If you want a really gradually change in lights then order «  dommable” lights. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. Now to find something to match for the center hall foyer.

My electrician wouldn’t even hang this. Once the globes were put on the ends the whole thing fell apart. The globes are too heavy for the arms and it’s so cheaply made it couldn’t support its own weight. I am trying to return it.Update: I contacted the seller and they have been fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again. Because they agreed to issue me a refund I am changing my rating to 5 star for their excellent customer service.

If you watch the youtube assembly video, this fixture is easy to out together. However it was a nightmare to hang. I'm in a new build and the bracket was not standard for the US. My electrician had to buy a universal bracket and new screws to attach the chandler to the bracket because the screws provider were too short. While it literally cost me more money to have the light hung than what I paid for it (no joke) and it's annoying I had to pay that much to hang it, it's cute.

Love this! Goes great in my place, I really like how it looks. Came with all the wires just hanging out, so I had to have my son come and wire the correct ones together. Took him awhile......so, if you’re not electrically knowledgeable, you’ll need some assistance! He thought it odd that it wasn’t already done by the company......(hence the 4 stars).Either way, the parts are of high quality, and I’m happy with it, even though the price is quite high!
