CP1715 CONTRAC Rodenticide, Blue

These pouches definitely are very good attractants and mitigators of rodent life. Unfortunately my dog also liked the taste, God rest his soul.

We’ve had rat problems and really didn’t know what to do. They love are backyard. We have fruit trees, a swimming pool and raised wood deck that attract them to come and best here. It was getting out of hand. My friend had recommended this product. It works great! We placed a few of these packets in several spots around the backyard. Within a few days we noticed these packets being moved or opened and after a couple of days we started finding dead rats. Get this if you have rats on your property. You don’t want them to find a way into your house.

I put them out daily for the rodents and after about 4-5 days I noticed less and less activity and found some dead rodents in the yard, and they didn’t smell. 10/10 recommend bc I tried everything else under the sun. Sticky traps, old style traps, gator snapping traps, poison, cayenne pepper and pepper, bleach, Irish springs soap, as well as sealed all areas they could use to get in. I put all my dry food in a galvanized trash can and they were even able to eat through it. They ate through the floor, my outside garbage cans. Ate books and laundry soap and shampoo and even ate some bleach tablets. I tried anything and everything and this is the only thing to even make a dent in the rodents that have been around since a house got demolished a block from me.

Twice now I have bought a large supply of these packs, only to find them in the shed where I left them eaten up! I left them in a sealable hard plastic container; but the rodents got in & I found all the packets out, opened, & flattened; papers all over the shed. I left them in a shed in a woodsy area. I don't know if it is rats, mice, or voles. So I figure these are effective, since it is the only type of rodent bait I have used which has been relished so much by rodents. Now I leave them in a steel container with only a few left out for bait. I don't know if it is a few gluttonous rodents or if somehow an army of them invades & goes wild eating this stuff. I haven't seen any dead bodies, but I assume it kills them. That it is rodents is an assumption, since I have never seen whatever is opening & emptying these bags. I hope it is not a cat!

I purchased a box of this Contrac and gave some packets to my son and friend...It works for me but my son said it did not help with his rodent infestation...I seldom see a mouse and when I start seeing a lot of critters I put down a bag in every room, two in my kitchen.I still have a lot of bags left.I am pleased with this product.Wished it work with everyone.

Works great! No sign of any mice or droppings once I put this out! Will buy again and works wonders!

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I haven’t seen or heard a rat/mouse since I’ve put the bait out. BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL! I read a review or answered question here that said a persons dog ate a pack and was fine. I hope that is true but my dog are a pack and almost died from internal bleeding since the poison depletes the body of it vitamin k and the blood won’t clot. KEEP IT AWAY FROM YOUR PETS!
