This is a very sturdy scoop that works perfectly in cleaning a small chicken coop. Its ergonomic design is perfect for small spaces like nestingboxes. A traditional scoop is difficult to use due to the long handle.

I purchased this product for a two cat household. I use multicat clumping litter. I love this scoop and most of the time it works really well. However, sometimes extra litter can be picked up and when the scoop is moved at all, litter falls everywhere. Smaller gaps would be nice, as I have to use a separate scoop sometimes for smaller pieces.

This is nice and large, and I can scoop once instead of multiple times. It holds everything in place until i give it a light squeeze, directly unto the litter pail. No more scattered litter on the floor and the design keeps my hand further away from the soiled litter than traditional scoops. Excellent for multi-cat households.

I like the ergonomic handle and the fact that it’s larger than the other scoops I’ve had. However, that can make things more difficult to pick up smaller pieces or ones at the edge of the box. The holes being large aren’t an issue for me. The biggest issue I have is that so much litter goes in the trap that is still good, resulting in my throwing away that litter unnecessarily. That can be expensive in the long run. Also, that trap makes a loud snapping noise when it closes. I guess that means it’s very secure though!

This was delivered today and I scooped the box right after. This thing is phenomenal. It is ergonomic and easy to hold and use, no getting your hands dirty. The bag doesn't fall into the trash because it's a precise slide from the scoop straight into the can. It's just the right size to sift out the good and dump the rest without out sliding through. The button is easy to use and snappy. It's got a really good sized scoop and a plenty big enough shoot out the bottom. I think I'm in love with my new pooper scooper hahahaha! I rarely write reviews but I had to write one for this lil item! Must have!

I had high expectations for this scooper. I believed it may decrease the time I spend on cleaning out both of my litter boxes. It doesn’t. My biggest disappointments about this item are that it is not ergonomic enough for deeper cleanings. The product was made pretty cheaply, In Clemson waste always gets stuck in the 15 section of the scoop..Also, having useless item for 45 days, the bottom release gets stuck when you hit the rel see button. And if you want your litter box to be extra clean, free from all clumps (waste material that is smaller than a thumbtack, consider another option. As previously mentioned, the sifting holes on this item, are two large to capture smaller pieces of waste. But when it does catch it, waste gets stuck in the sifting holes. Amazon has a version of this scooper for eight dollars that appears to be much more functional, so I’m trying it out and likely give this item away.Oh, One more thing about this item, because it’s built to capture waste that travels to the bottom of the scooper for release, you end up getting a lot of good cat litter from your scoop at the bottom. Bottom line, I lost about maybe a sandwich bag of cat litter every week when I use this item. The only way to avoid this happening is to scoop the litter in a horizontal fashion show that you can slowly sift the usable cat litter out and then turn it downward so that the waist collects at the bottom for disposal.

I don't really use the release mechanism much. It sometimes snaps close if you don't have a good grip and poop gets flung across the room.

I got this because we have 3 cats and I was hoping it would help me do the job easier. This thing is really cool and a great design, but it takes forever to sift the litter through the scoop. You may as well just dump it all out in a bag. By the time you wait to sift it and dump it through exit hole, you could have been doing something more productive. It just takes too long to use it. Sorry! It seems like a good idea but now it will just end up in the plastic vortex.
