A Smart Way to Buy the WSJ
As long as you don't mind renewing your subscription every nine months, this is definitely the most cost efficient way to order the Wall Street Journal. For about 1/6 of the price, you get a digital and print subscription to the paper. Digital & Print Solutions acts as an aggregator. They take your information and pass it along to the WSJ who is then responsible for your subscription. To be clear, once the provider has registered you with the WSJ, you are in the same position as you would have been if you dealt directly with the Journal. Any complaints about delivery, suspension of service and so on should be addressed directly to the WSJ, preferably through their web interface. The process is as follows:(1) Several days after placing your order, you receive a slip of paper in the mail from Digital & Print Solutions informing you that your delivery will begin in 2-5 business days.(2) You then go to their web address ([...]) and mention that your would like your account details.(3) Within 48 hours (for me it was 1 hour) you will receive an e-mail with your account number, name, and password.(4) You can then sign into the WSJ site and modify your e-mail, password and even delivery address. You can temporarily suspend your delivery service if you are traveling.(5) You may also use these credentials to sign into your digital subscription. The effort of these extra couple of extra steps were more than outweighed by the lower price, which as I mentioned is roughly 17% of the price I would have paid going direct.

If you just enjoy reading the paper
this paper comes in the mail and you don't get it every day. Sometimes they are two and 3 days late, which means you are getting two or three editions on the same day. If you just enjoy reading the paper, even if its a day or two late, that's fine. but if you like the daily newspaper on time every day this is not for you.

Good paper
This is an excellent newspaper. Many stories you simply wont find online. Unique compared to most local papers and serves as a good supplement to your local newspaper. Only bad thing is delivery. I get mine in the mail, albeit the same posted date of the paper, but in the late afternoon. Would have prefered that it be delivered with my morning paper. I know my local newspapers delivers the WSJ in the am,but likely only if you buy through them. Not sure.

Renewing an existing account does not work.
I purchased this with the intent of renewing an existing online subscription. This is not possible. I had to contact WSJ customer support to find out what the issue was. They said the email address associated with my new account just purchased ended with the domain "@wbizmail.com", which is nothing close to my real email address domain. Support said that I should have received an account number for the new account, which I never did. Technical support is now linking my real email address with this new subscription, which they said may take 24 hours. I may also have to setup again all my existing WSJ newsletter and email alerts, under this new account. All in all, this is not an easy or seamless process.

And it works great - you get both newspaper delivery and online access
I was skeptical at first (as the price was so low), but as Amazon guaranteed the purchase, I tried it. And it works great - you get both newspaper delivery and online access. It's amazing value compared to subscribing direct!

Delievery as advertised, clarity excellent, still wish for a politically more balanced journal
Delivery and all works well. The journal, as I knew to begin with, is somewhat lopsided, even unsophisticated in its political orientation. But the clarity of construction of reports and the ease to follow ideas makes reading efficient.

Wall Street Journal Subscription
My husband loves to read the Wall Street Journal. When his subscription ran out, the renewal price was very expensive. I searched until I found this deal and I am very pleased with it. Nine months for $59.00 is the best price I could find, by far, unless you are a new subscriber.
