AutoExec RoadCar-03 MAH Car Desk (Mahogany Finish with X-Grip Phone Mount), 1 Pack

This is built tough and does everything it is supposed to. I feel like it is a little pricey but I pulled the trigger anyway because I feel like I live in my truck. It fits fine in my Ranger but with more room in the front tward the dash the seatbelt is a must. The power inverter works as it should and can power my laptop, a printer and charge my phone. The plug ins and power button being on the back side keeps them out of the way but also makes them impossible to access while in the truck. One thing I didn't expect is the storage area under the desk is not easy to get to because of my arm rest. I could rotate it up and out of the way but then everything in it gets jostled around. The strap for your laptop isn't the best solution as you can only get it so tight and may interfere with plugs on your computer. It holds it in place but can slide out. Moving the laptop and rotating it for use works well but you must tighten the bolt under the desk which is hard to get to. Another thing I didn't think of is when I pick up my daughter from school I have to remove the desk so she has somewhere to sit. Overall it was expensive and has some flaws but I am glad I ordered it. I would like to see some attachments like a printer stand or phone stand. The options on Amazon aren't clear how they work with this desk.

This is a great auto desk, it fits my Trailblazer SS perfectly. The only reason I took off a star was because the strap system is completely useless. I was unable to even strap my laptop tight enough to get the velcro to touch, let alone have any confidence that it would keep it from getting damaged.Fortunately RAM Mounts made the perfect addition to this desk which is the RAM-234-6 found here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GLXQOC8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1If this desk had come with a mounting system like that, it would have definitely been 5 stars. This product fits perfectly in the front seat of my Kia Soul. I work out of my car 4 days per week and have been searching for something like this. I decided to put a rubber material on the top of the desk and emailed the manufacturer just to ask their opinon, and they fedex'd me a rubber top cover immediately at no charge! This was above and beyond my expectation. It is a well made product and well designed.

Made really well and is a great concept but double check to ensure that it will fit in your vehicle before ordering. THIS WILL NOT FIT A NEWER MODEL FORD TAURUS. It hits the shifter, covers most of the console and does not give you access to the bottom storage area. It honestly is just made way too large for a car and if you order it, you’ll pay the return shipping.

Look harder for the one without the slide but rather with the rubber grip top. You don't need to fasten your laptop down. It will sit tight just the way it is assuming you're not driving a Jeep off-road. Also I wish the rounded projection top toward the driver was longer to get it closer to you. Finally, have a butt lift for your left butt cheek. As you swivel your torso toward the desk, you will need support under your left butt cheek. I think this desk is okay but the inventor / designer hopefully should be working on modification to make it more user friendly with regards to twisting your low back. It's probably the best unit out there but certainly could be improved upon.

I love this desk. It has made all the difference while on the road. The desk is well made with high quality plastics with a two-tone gray color which is attractive and the construction is top quality. The metal plate on top of the desk is for the laptop and it slides and adjusts for the best viewing angle. There is a big second compartment to hide the laptop if you get out of your car and there are smaller additional compartments for pens, pencils, accessories and a wide slot for hanging standard size hanging file folders. The hanging folders seem to fall of the track if you hit a bump or two but I overall this is an outstanding product. I highly recommend it.

I broke this thing in for about a month before writing the review. Construction is great and this thing really is built like a tank. The file and storage area at the end of the desk is great and very functional. I have this in the passenger seat of a 2013 Fusion and I find that the storage area beneath the computer to be relatively useless. I feel like the computer mount would have been better served with a clamp rather than the Velcro strap. All in all, this has made me more productive on the road, but the product is not perfect.

Just arrived yesterday, fits perfectly and the computer mount is great. It has a strap or you can also attach Velcro. I have multiple laptops so I only use the strap. Very nice and built like a tank heavy, strong, quality construction etc. Can not find one bad thing, just place it on the passenger seat and fasten the seat belt. I use Netzero internet so I have internet while traveling. Great product recommend to anyone who needs to travel for work and the best part is that you can transfer it to a rental car in seconds.

To much money for what you get.
