Roland Go:Livecast Livestreaming Studio for Smartphones - A Fully Featured Streaming Studio with Plug-And-Play Setup

I just received a Go:Livecast, purchased from Amazon.de and I'm disappointed. Few Android phones compatible and unfortunately neither my Oneplus and Xiaomi Mi 9 are supported. As a result, the app can't be installed.I tried with an old iPhone with iOS12 (fully supported) and the results were a disaster - the internal mic stopped working after 14 seconds of broadcasting. Tried with a phantom mic with the same result.The broadcasted video is terrible: audio and video are unsynched and the overall quality is very low.Last but not least, the mobile phone doesn't charge while is plugged to the Livecast. As the cast drains battery easily, better keeping live streams shorter.Finally, the app looks unfinished, due to the number of issues. As for instance, more than one time, the live streaming on youtube suddenly stopped.I'm disappointed - it is unacceptable that a so respectable brand delivers a faulty and unusable product. I don't know if Roland has plans to extend the compatibility to my Android devices and if they will be fixing the serious issues on the iPhone. Currently, my go:livecast is useless. Shame on Roland.Please, don't buy it until Roland will clarify their plans and fix the issues.

Occasionally the app crashes. Wish the cable ports on the device were usbc rather than micro usb. If the micro usb to lightening cable breaks, not sure where I will get a replacement. The device is very plasticky and doesn’t feel robust. These niggles aside, the device works very well.

I totally recommend this product for live streaming. It work's very well, is so easy to set up & the sound that processes through it is 100 percent clarity! It is built very well & the price at the time for me was an absolute bargain! It's five stars from me.
