Easy install great sound

Great product installs easily. Had to slightly shorten intake tube for proper fitment but no big deal

This intake gave me more horsepower and sounds better as well.

Overall this is a good intake, it serves its purpose and really helped to get more response from my engine…..Function=5 StarsHowever, there are a few cons.1. Vague instructions. It’s hard to tell which fasteners go where.2. Faulty Hardware. The rubber grommets that hold the heat shield on are trash. I may have overtightened them but the nut encased in the rubber detached and ended up failing. I ended up using some bolts with lock washers I had in the garage. ALSO I found the screw on the steel band provided to fasten the rubber connector to the intake manifold (the larger of the 4) was completely stripped out. Luckily I was able to use the band from the factory intake.I could see this being a pain if you already have the old intake ripped out, no extra hardware to install the new one.Overall, after testing it out it does the job and it’s a nice upgrade, but quality control would be a nice extra feature.

Immediate difference in sound and torque. Product arrived as described. highly recommend. Worth every cent.

Some of the parts could be metal instead of plastic, and not super great finish on the tube, but all went on easily. Fine for the low price . I had a superchips performance tune on for a few years. It is very noticeable with both things. Took off on wet pavement and wheels spin at half throttle! Bad reviews may be with stock tune? Runs like a beast with both mods.

For being made for my year model it was not very accurate. The box had to be bent over because the tube was too long. The instructions for the PCV hose were not really helpful. The hole sizes listed that had to be drilled seemed to be incorrect. Would be helpful to know ahead of time that the engine needs to be tuned for the CAI, didn’t realize that ahead of time. Would have waited till I could get it turned before installing, now it doesn’t like to stop.

The media could not be loaded. Very easy using simple tools. You will need a 5/8 drill bit or dremel. Have yet to road test but looks great and sounds great.
