The follow up to Upper Cut Princess and boy was the heat turned up.We pick up right at the ending of book 1 with all hell breaking loose. Kyla doesn't know where her boys are, but ends up at Johnny's. Johnny continues to be a loose piece in the will he or won't he join the harem. This book continues with Kyla exploring her relationship with Oscer, amd her relation shop with Brawler. Lots of truths come out, and trust is built between her and the two boys. The new twist is the chemistry between Kyla and Magnum. What started out as platonic (with lastly appreciation) is turning into something more.Through all of this we are still seeing Kyla navigate life on Big Daddy K's radar, the rival gangs out to get her, high school, and Johnny's protectiveness. The fighting continues to be her outlet when everything starts to be too much.Kayla's inner strength and willingness to take risks for what she wants keeps me enthralled and envious. She definitly know who she is, what she wants, and goes to get it.Moore's writing continues to be flawless. I love that even though it is RH Kyla has an individual relationship with each of her men. The place is set by the two people in that relationship. There is not a competition or a race to ome up each other.

I've been waiting for so long on this book. I had high expectations and E.M. Moore fulfilled every one of them. there are a lot of questions, which are answered in this book. you get to know more about Kayla ‘s past and more about the boys. She just has been on her own for a long time now and finds it hard to trust anyone. Which is why i am so glad she starts to trust Brawler and Oscar, and all the time spend with Magnum and Johnny gave more insight on the whole gang system. You get to know more about the past of the boys and why they are stuck in this life. My heart truly breaks for each of them. This book, being a slow reverse harem and with boys whom are not keen on sharing her, really brings out a whole new perspective to the harem. They have to learn how to share and be around each other. I’m curious how Johnny will react to the harem thing, because he is one hell of an alpha male. Kayla, being in the center of Big Daddy K’s plans, puts a big target on her back. Trying everything to survive, keeping her boys save, take Big Daddy K down and get out. She has her work cut out for her, but if there is one thing we do know is that Kayla is a major badass chick. She just needs to learn how to depend on her boys because she has no choice now than to put her life in their hands, mostly Johnny and Magnum. i can’t wait to see how this series ends in the next book!

I started the first book in the series yesterday and couldn't put it down. When it was over with I needed this book like I needed to breathe. I'm not sure how she did it but this book was just as good if not better than the last. And now I need the third book like yesterday. I need more of my guys! Especially Brawler and Magnum! Not sure when I'm going to learn to stop reading books with Cliffhangers when the next book isn't out yet but this series is definitely worth the wait for the next book. I'm kinda really upset I didnt read them before now actually. This cliffhanger wasn't really as bad as the last book since I had a feeling it was coming. So even though it left me with one heck of a book hangover I dont mind waiting for the next book. If you haven't started this series yet then your missing out for sure!

Oh my god! That ending is crazy. I absolutely love Kyla. It's crazy the mess she is in just to kill Big Daddy K. Cant wait for the next book to come out. I need to know what happens with Johnny and her.

I keep seeing the clues the author has left us throughout the books! But OMG things are getting intense. I felt so awful for Oscar in this book. Everything we learn about him and how he was hurt. I just feel so bad for him. Let’s talk about Magnum for a moment. I absolutely love him (such a dreamy sigh towards him). I really hope this all works out for Kayla in the end. She has really set herself up for some emotional and physical pain if it doesn’t. Book number 3, here I come.

E.M. Moore sure knows how to pull you in and want more! Just when I thought I knew what going to happen next, I wasn't prepared for that ending. In this second book Kyla becomes more involved with the crew and everything no longer seems black and white especially with Johnny. I adore Kyla's feistiness and loved seeing her relationships grow with Brawler and Oscar. I'm very intrigued with Magnum too! He's definitely my favorite. I need more from him and can't wait for him and Kyla to finally come together. Counting down until book 3!

Omg! What an ending! I cannot wait for the next book! I absolutely love Brawler and Magnum... I’m starting to love Oscar and Johnny too though... I wouldn’t be able to choose!

There are not enough words to describe what an incredible book I think this is. The FMC is just someone you will be cheering for from start to finish. It makes you feel like even though things are getting tough for our main FCthat she is more than up to the challenge with the help of all her men. It ends with a cliffhanger but I definitely think it's worth reading.

After how Uppercut Princess (Book 1) ended in that cliffhanger, I couldn't wait for this book. And I wasn't disappointed it was so worth the wait. It starts right after the events of the last book, I'm not going to spoil it but wow, I have so much theories about this series.I'm still not sure if your meant to like Johnny but I do think he is redeemable and in this book you get to see abit of emotional side of him. I have a love/hate relationship with his character.Mag is a mystery though but he definitely has feelings for Kyla, he is very protective of her.As for Big Daddy K I have my theories about him. I really do hate that man.I absolutely loved this book, and again it ends in a cliffy. So bring on book 3 I can't wait.

Another book that I have eagerly been anticipating....and it was so worth the wait! God I love this gritty storyline and all the different characters. In this book we get more of Oscar and Magum and you can ser the different relationships building. We have some epic sex scenes as well which were really hot! The more I read from this author the more blown away I am, I love the style of writing, it just has the right mix of details, plot, characters with depth as well as edge of your seat drama. Only downside is I now have to wait for the final instalment!! Every book by this author is 5 stars, if i could give more stars I would do!! Highly recommend this author and her books!!!

This series is definitely one for people who love the mfc to be a badass character who can see sometimes that she might be a bit too deep in a bad situation but carries on! Kyla finally opened up to Oscar and Brawler and I'm so glad she did! Totally rooting for her with these two. I know Magnum is a big, protective alpha type but I still want to hug him since he is restraining himself so much with Kyla! I'm still on the fence with Johnny since I like him when not showing the major influence his dad has had on him. The story keeps you gripped every time and flows perfectly. Excited for the next book after where we were left off!

Don't take the 4stars as a sign that this is a bad second book. It's quite the opposite. It's really really good. I just find the RH a little uncomfortable.I enjoy allot of RH books but this one is different. I can't help but feel like it's breaking the rules a little and is more on the cheating/affair side of things.But then this series is a dark romance and they're meant to break the rules.All in all a great second book and I can't wait for the third

To me this is not a RH book. This is a storey about a cheater sneaking about behind her boyfriends back. There is little story development. Kyla is supposed to be organizing daddy ks demise yet nothing happens on this front. The whole - no relationship thing with Johnny is just plain ridiculous. Just get on with it and stop dragging it and the story out!
