I do a lot of on-line teaching, and I have one of the basement rooms set up as the next thing to a broadcasting studio. The problem so far has been insulating the Blue Yeti microphone from vibration. For a long time, I solved the problem by clamping the microphone arm to another piece of furniture. But this was an inconvenient arrangement. I finally bought this so I could clamp the microphone in the most convenient arrangement - that is, to the table I use as my desk. I read various reviews and found myself looking at this item. I bought it mindful of the one-star reviews.It came the next day in a nice box. It took me all of five minutes to fit it all together as shown in the photographs. It works a treat - a solid grip on both the microphone and the microphone arm; no hint of vibration.I therefore recommend the mount as excellent value for money.

for it's price category, a good buy, as long as you are not planning to re-place it over and over

Came away from base, completely snapped off!

This replaced a stock desk clamp for my mic stand - avoiding me having to order a new stand completely. Really solid, really well made and looks really smart.

Used with a SM7b and it literally snapped the plastic while i was adjusting it the metal construction is perfect but adding plastic to the most structural part of a microphone arm? that's really silly also looking at reviews im not the only one with this exact type of break go buy a mic mount that is all metal or you may run into the same problem a few months down the linealso with a heavy mic pushing the mount to one side made the green stick pad underneath slide out the amount of times i had to stick it back in place because of the small size with the weight of the SM7b truly regret cheaping out with such an expensive mic

Works perfectly in my situation. My IKEA desk is way too thick for regular clamps provided with most boom arms.Super sturdy and kind to my desk with the rubber protectors!Price is slightly steep but it’s also hard to come across clamps that suit this purpose.

Mount lasted well for a couple of months, eventuallu with movement ended up like the rest you see in reviews here
