Wrote the Book, Made the Movie, Raised the Kids, Now the Blog...: 21st Century Musings from an Exhausted Renaissance Woman Hardcover – April 20, 2010

I'll start by saying, I am no pushover in matters of comedy, love or stories of passion and commitment related to following one's heart and dreams. This is what we should all do. But, this book had me at "Hello." This is the funniest book I've read as an adult, and I've been an adult a while.Furthermore, I'm not a fan of the hyper-gadget driven society we live in which encourages us to read things on little glowing screens, but I enjoyed this book so much that once I started reading it on my partners Kindle, I couldn't put it down. I couldn't put it down, no matter how hot that little device got. The emotional payoff was worth the tactile tradeoff. Ms. Sarif's humor is pitch perfect. This book is a testimony to love, compassion, laughter and women being committed to each other, and to each others' art across a range of relationships. Well done women. I salute you all. A L. Mays

Its a super funny book . A director giving you a picture of everyday life. who wouldn't love to read about someone's life . The hilarious lines that shamim sarif writes makes you seem like your life is super boring. Filmaking, writing books , handling a marriage an all package seems to be quiet hard for a person but shamim sarif has managed to do all that. A strong willed women i would say the blog book is definately a worth reading.

Shamim Sarif is very funny. If you like her writing or like to read humorous books then you should get this book. I'm sure you could find this online on her blog BUT I loved having a book it my hand. Plus I loved seeing all of the pictures!
