Ritz Kids - Children's Foot Measuring Device & Shoe Sizer

The size was off by a whole shoe size. When I measured my daughter with this her big toe was on the line 3 1/2 size... I thought my daughter went through a growth spurt or something, cause her previous shoes were a size 2. So, I sized up half a size for growing room like always. After trial and error of buying online shoes at a size 4, 3-1/2 and 3, I found she was actually a size 3 (with room for growth). So I would say the measurement is off by 1/2 shoe size if you buy your shoes with extra space. Other than that the stick is solid wood and easy to use now that I can account for the wonky measurements. Not a complete bust, because I can save the shoes that I bought that are too big for next year. But, I would imagine that this would be a great inconvenience to most people.

I've had this stick for 3 years now. Every change of season I pull it out and measure my 3 kids feet, before ordering them new shoes. It can be a bit of a challenge to get kids to place their foot on it properly, but other wise it's very simple to use. Certainly much easier and usually cheaper than dragging kids to a shoe store to be measured and try on shoes.I've found the measurements for both lengthand width to be very accurate, although there are of course some variations in sizing between shoe brands.

My husband came up with this great idea that instead of continuously buying the wrong size shoe for my daughter's feet, maybe we should invest in a foot sizer. This works great, and seems accurate based on what size shoe she wears. I felt like this was kind of expensive for a glorified ruler, but it should be worth it since we won't be buying the wrong size shoe anymore.It measures infant, toddler and big kids sizes and up to women's size 7, so it will work until our daughters' feet are almost done growing.

We were looking for a device that would make it easy to measure our growing toddler's foot size. This works very well and she (2.5 years old) enjoys being measured a lot and looking at the scale. The measurements seem accurate and it is so convenient to know at home when it is time for the next shoe size. Especially because we buy a lot if not all her shoes online and often a few sizes up depending on special offers. Now when we think she might have outgrown a pair we can quickly measure it and check for ourselves without the drama in store of taking off shoes etc.

This seems to work well and is helpful to order kids shoes on-line. It seems that the size that they measure out on is the size you would actually buy (which includes some wiggle room). I bought the size they measured to on this measure and all 3 of my kids had a little extra space at the end for room and growing feet.

Was thinking this might have a sliding part for exact heel to toe measurement, but doesn't. It's a bit thick and narrow on which to stand but does the trick. My 3 yr old son is such a wiggle worm it's just easier to shop without him or online so having an exact measurement at home is great. I could even stick this in my bag and take it to see if shoes run large or small.

Helped with buying shoes online. But always go up half a size and if your kids have wide feet (like mine) get that checked in a store (there are degrees of wideness).Once they are measured as having wide feet, they stay wide.

Great product for the price. No frills, back to basics, it does what it says and is a time/money saver. We love to find a deals on shoes for our little one online. we are able to order the right size, thus allowing us to save money (right size) and time (less returns). Love the ability to measure width too.
