Verbatim 43791 4.7GB DVD-R 16X (Pack of 50 Disc) Shrink Pack

As far as the quality is concerned it is made in Taiwan by Verbatim so I hope the quality will be maintained and it is been recently manufactured Jan 2025 so no problem there. I burnt 1 DVD for my archival and it was well done on my LG internet DVD writer at 16x speed so no problem there. I have been using verbatim since 2014 and never faced a single dud disk in my experience. It's a value for money product for 1000 rupees for archival.

good dvds, low fails

It's a set of quality dvd r discs, but is really expensive.A couple of years ago, such a set would have costed around 700-800 at the most. But as dvds are increasingly becoming defunct nowadays, their prices have been hiked by retailers considerably of late which is a real disappointment. I would request the seller to price it more reasonably so that people like me that still use dvds for backups can actually afford them. I plan on buying more but the high price (~1000) is a major deterrent!

*Amazon deleted my last review on this. The package was horrible. The upper seal was half-torn and the whole set was sent to me without even wrapping in a bubble wrapper. They just put the set in a cardboard box and sent it. I'm yet to see how many discs are corrupted because of this. Fortunately, no scratches yet. Reading and writing are fine. Only time will tell how long these discs last. ImgBurn shows manufacturer Id as CMC MAG. AM3 which means this DVD set was manufactured in CMC magnetic corps' AM3 branch under the brand name of Verbatim. This is expected as Verbatim sold its optical media business to CMC in 2019. This set was imported in January 2020

Ottimi dvd a buon prezzo. Manca la custodia esterna rigida, ma questi dvd sono molto affidabili. Sono diversi anni che li uso per masterizzare e raramente ho avuto dei problemi.
