VxV

This is an amazing album, I love that these guys are really bold with their lyrics. They are talented as well. The music is mostly metal and has some rock and punk influences. I love the introductions to VxV, East to West, and The Father's Bargain. The Father's Bargain is probably my favorite song on the album, as well as The Bird and the Snake I love the imagery and symbolism that they use for those two pieces. All of the songs are tight and solidly written and performed. East to West is a nice one for just reminding everyone of the cost of grace, "Living You loved me...Buried You carried my sins away, Carried my sins far away." The lyrics are Christian and I am really glad that they are so strong in their faith.

Great album

"VxV" is definitely a heavier album--and, I would argue, even MORE Gospel-centered--than "Captors". I loved "Captors" in part because of the perfect balance of clean and screaming vocals. There is more screaming here, and some darker riffs, but "VxV" is a clear evolution of WatG. It hasn't immediately struck a chord with me like "Captors" did, but I'm sure a few more listens will change that.

It's still early in my listening journey of this album, but "East to west", "the father's bargain" and "the bird and the snake" already stand out to me. You won't be disappointed.

My favorite from them to date. Love it, work out to it often.

This album has more screaming compared to their first one which normally is a turn off for me but the passion they put into this album is undeniable. I have it on repeat for working out.

Inspiring lyrics, epic tunes

As good as WATG's previous effort, Captors was, I have been anxiously anticipating how awesome this album would be ever since I first heard about it a few weeks ago. Now the day has come and my expectations were met and exceeded with this album! Every song was awesome and the vocals are off the charts! I love the passion for Jesus Christ that these guys display in every track. The production on VxV is also impeccable. If you are a Rock or metal fan, Christian or not, this album is a must have.

I became a big fan of Wolves at the Gate after their previous album "Captors" which was amazing. They definitely did not disappoint with VxV either, with the same energy and passion as before and very inspiring lyrics, they've quickly become one of my favorite bands.

I love this album, just buy it.
