Size Name:47x27cm This 3D Rock and Root Background with vents consists of a tree trunk and a rocky wall. This design is around 2-3 inches thick. It fits in narrow aquariums and wall aquariums. You can hide all your filter pipes, heaters or airline behind the background. This design has filtration vents to increase water circulation around the background. Measurements represent the back of the specified tank size(s). The background will be slightly shorter than tank to allow it to fit within the support braces and plastic/glass trim around the tank edges, and allow it to stand up against the back. The difference in width is occupied by mesh to prevent fish from getting behind, and the height can be adjusted by leveling with gravel or small slate pieces. It can also be modified or trimmed using a dremmel or sander tool if needed.

Realistic background
Apparently this is a new seller on Amazon so I was a bit nervous about being one of the first buyers; I needn't have worried. The parcel arrived 4 days after I placed the order but I was slightly disappointed the postage cost me almost £15. The background was well protected in it's cardboard box by a thick covering of bubble wrap.The background itself is high quality and very substantial so needs no sticking to the aquarium as it doesn't float. It's about 5 inches deep where the tree branch is and has plenty of room behind to hide pipework. There are foam strips either end to prevent fish going behind. The base of the tree branch has an opening with a mesh stuck at the back which I have removed to provide a 'cave' for any fry to hide. The rocks have wide ledges to attach Java Fern and Anubias.One word of caution; this will not fit in an aquarium in one piece if you have a bracing bar in the middle. I have a Fluval Roma 200 which has an integrated plastic top frame with brace bar that cannot be removed. I cut the background in half following the line of the rocks in order to fit it.

Beau rendu
Beau rendu sur mon 350 l, pas simple quand même à installer avec la barre de renfort de l'aquarium donc quand ils disent que c'est faisable en eau pour un grand aquarium oubliez... prend quand même un peu de largeur, il faut prévoir de masquer légèrement le côté. Mes poissons se faufilent derrière, j'ai tout essayé, la ouate, les ardoises, mes poissons de fond creusent le sol mais ils reviennent quand ils ont envie.Au niveau peinture, la partie tronc est en train de se décolorer légèrement sur le relief j'espère que ça va se stabiliser, car se serait dommage c'est bien imité.

Rapport qualité /prix abusif
Decor qui nécessite d'être siliconé pour s'ajuster aux 120 cm, manque 1.5 cm. L'arrière du decor bien que non visible fait baclé par manque de resine. Dommage sinon le renduest assez réaliste.
