Not for older security doors
Needed to replace the hardware on an old security door, the internal hardware was the same but I would have to use a cutting tool for the handle to fit. Installation would have been easy, don't waste your money if you don't have a newer door.

Great Quality. but....
The product quality is fantastic. However, the instructions are very lacking. I had replaced a previous "Marks" lockset so I was familiar with removal/installation. This Maxtech lockset while meeting all of my other expectations (price, quality and finish) were excellent, however the installation was very different. Once I played with it (I'm an engineer) and figured out how it worked (after installing and removing several times) it works great. I would highly recommend this lockset, but suggest clarity on the installation scheme.

No key needed to unlock?
I'm very confused about the whole in the middle that allows to open the lock with any stick/screwdriver/etc. Why no cover is provided with the lock?Other than that the lock is good. but without the cover - not usable.

Bad quality
The dead bolts lock bodies would not thread into the latch body. This is a paperweight at this point.

I received a used one and did not work at all. Was broke and I returned my order, they refused to give my money back.
