Great Hairdryer
Great product. As a single father with 2 girls, wanted something that was going to be reliable and fast and so far this has worked perfectly for me. It gets very hot, but medium setting does the job and I don’t need to worry about anyone saying it’s too hot

Drys hair fast!
I have used many Babyliss blow dryers. I have another one that isn’t as many watts and it’s amazing how much better this one is. I like the 2000 watt blow dryers. Every time I purchase one that is less, I regret it. This is a great price for this one! I have purchased this same one years ago, but paid much more. The one I purchased from my beauty supply, that is 1800ish watts and was more money, is not nearly as good as this one. I like that tye End where it blows out isn’t too long. Sometimes it feels a little heavy, but I am a cosmetologist, so probably after using it all day, it just starts feeling heavy. The cord is long, which is amazing and you can move around easier with it. My last one lasted a good amount of time. I tend to go through blow dryers faster than at home, because I am using them all day in the salon. A good blow dryer makes all the difference in the health of the hair. It dries faster with less frizz. I never use it on the hottest setting and always use the nozzle piece, so you don’t singe your hair. It’s more expensive than the ones you get at the big box stores, but once you use a professional brand , you will be hooked!

Fast, small, strong
I don't usually write reviews, but since I researched so many dryers and others reviews helped, I though I should return the favor. I spent 150.00 on my last dryer which lasted about 6 yr. I have mid back, to shoulder length thick hair. My hair is very dry so I try to use dryers that will not destroy my hair. Recently my stylist asked what I was using on my hair since it was so dry, I thought it might be from flat ironing but when I told her I was using a 6 yr old Porcelin dryer, she advise I get a new one. As fate would have it, it died 2 wks later. OK here we go, with my old dryer it would take about 25-30 min. to blow it curly, blowing it straight took 35-45 min. I have only dried it curly so far, it only took 10-15 min. with and without the diffuser. I had it on high heat and speed, it did not feel hot or burn my scalp. I felt it did make my hair a bit shiner which is great. I found it to be lighter then my old dryer, not a deal breaker for me but maybe to others. Its on the small size, a little bit bigger then my Vidal Sasson 1875 travel dryer. The handle is nice, it feels contoured to the shape of your hand (I have small hands). Not too loud, has a long round cord. It comes with a nice size diffuser and 3 nozzles s,m,l. On the directions it tells you which is best for the style your looking for. I'm looking at the directions now and there is directions on how to dry your hair and tips. That's cool I've never seen that with other companies. So far I love it! I can't see any reason to not recommend it. I've seen it in Harmons/BB&B for 140.00, with a coupon brings it down 112.00 without tax and and travel. I decided to go with Amazon for 99.95, free shipping which took 6 days. Hope this helps :)

Shoddy Product With No Support From Maker
Have you ever once had a blowdryer slip off your bathroom counter? If so, absolutely do not throw $100 down the drain on this product. One might think a blowdryer should be manufactured with the fortitude to withstand such an incident. I'm pretty sure this isn't the only blowdryer to have taken such a tumble under my ownership. However, it is the only one to be rendered worthless as a result. After owning this blowdryer for less than six months, it slipped off my bathroom counter one morning. The plastic casing housing the filter on the back shattered on impact. I tried super gluing the pieces back together, but the filter housing didn't fit securely back onto the unit. I figured this shouldn't be an issue. As the filter is removable, surely I could just contact BaByliss (apparently owned by Conair) and purchase a replacement part, right? Wrong. They do not offer any replacement parts. BaByliss (aka Conair) was kind enough to respond to my inquiry (which clearly stated the fact that the dryer fell off my counter) with the following email: "Dear Conair Consumer, Thank you for contacting us regarding a part for your dryer. Unfortunately, we do not carry any replacement parts, such as the filter cover housing. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience. If your dryer is within the limited warranty, we can offer you a replacement unit. Please call our customer service department at 1-800-326-6247 for assistance with a return authorization. They will need your name, address, phone number, model number and date of purchase when you call. If a receipt is not available, the warranty will be determined by a 4-digit manufacturing date code, which is imprinted on the unit. Regards, Consumer Correspondent" That sounds promising, no? Not remotely, as it turns out. I called customer service with my Amazon receipt handy. I was advised that manufacturer defects are the only thing covered under the warranty. WTF? Why would they respond to my tale of my blowdryer taking a counter top tumble with any sort of glimmer of hope that my $100 investment was not lost? I can only assume: 1. They do not actually read the facts supplied by consumers, 2. They entrust response to written inquiries to employees who do not know there is no such warranty, or 3. They do not value consumer loyalty any more than they value manufacturing a product of adequate quality to withstand normal incidents of use. If you can guarantee that you will never allow a blowdryer to slip off your bathroom counter, then by all means shell out $100 for this product. But if there is any remote possibility that it may slip from your counter or ever slip out of your hand, know that it is not designed to withstand a couple foot fall and you can toss it in the trash as BaBYLISS DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THIS PRODUCT. But I will give props where they're due for one thing. In all the literally hundreds of products I have purchased off Amazon over the years, this is the first experience that left me feeling disgruntled enough to write a negative review. Cheers to BaByliss for being my first!

Es muy buen secador. Pero coincido con otros comentarios que le falta un poco más d potencia. Sin embargo me seca muy rápido y bien mi cabello. Lo recomiendo

This is a holy grail of hair dryers. It drastically reduced my hair drying time and my hair has never been smoother and shinier. I could not recommend this product more.

This is powerful. It has as much power as the one from the salon. It will dry your hair faster than any Conair ones. It is rated at 2000w and Conair ones are 1875W. The ~100W really makes a difference. It produces much more air and is very hot air. It takes about 10 seconds for it to warm up. Ones it is warm up the air is very hot, be careful not to burn your head. If you feel it is too hot use the other nozzle. This will dry your hair faster than those Conair ones. However, it will cost you 2x or 3x the money of a Conair.
