Difficult to cut, but WORTH IT!
I use this 1/2 tubing on the ground (vs under the ground), but roll over it with small vehicles and lawnmowers all the time. It is difficult to cut and fit accessories (use very hot water to make it possible), but it's WORTH IT! Once installed, you'll never worry about it being crushed, bent, or just falling apart like other tubing. So if you need to bury or putting tubing down in a high traffic area, this tubing is the way to go.

Very durable and cheap
This was a great price compared to buying in store at Lowes and Home Depot. Definitely recommend for any sprinkler line projects.

Above/below ground water supply for irrigation.
As expected this line is a bit stiff, but will curve enough for most uses. Suggest leaving it exposed to hot summer sun an hour or two before placement. The material is thick and should last years.

Heavy Duty
There are cheaper pipes and I have used them, but often cut through them when digging, but I am confident that this pipe would withstand a spade as it is very thick, well worth the extra few dollars.

Don't use for direct connection to 1/4" drip irrigation lines
This is a great and beefy product run contour main lines before you connect to the a thin walled 1/2" line that can be punctured with the drip line nipples.PVC --> this line--> 1/2" thin walled irrigation line --> 1/4" feeder irrigation line.

Not for wimps! Too tough for its own good (updated)
I really wanted to give this 5 stars. The hose is very, very strong. It is so tough, I'd wager it will outlast all of us. The problem is putting fittings on such tough hose. I'm not as strong as I used to be, I guess, even with hot water to soften the ends brfore pressing the fitting on. A heat gun worked, but if using one take care or it will soften to the point of deforming when trying to insert a fitting. Then the deformed end must be cut off and try again. I had to ask for help. The tiny fittings for 1/4" hose are the worst. I got two in but gave up for the day after that, and ordered a tool to help hold onto the little things for another try next weekend. Once finished though, it will surely last.Update: my husband tried drilling 1/8" holes for the barbed hose fittings, which made all the difference though he still needed to support the back with a piece of wood when pressing in the fittings. Still not for wimps! But it is no longer impossible.

Terrible for drip irrigation
Worst hose I could have bought for drip irrigation. While it says it is 1/2”, there are no fittings that re listed as 1/2” will work with this. I had to use a propane torch to soften the ends to get the fitting on. Putting a hole for drip irrigation lines was impossible.

Heavy duty tubing
This is not your run of the mill half inch tubing. It is almost twice as thick as the basic tubing available in the big box store. The PSI rating is also much higher and it can be used for underground sprinker lines. The Orbit compression fittings work really well wih this tubing. My pump pressurizes the system to 45 psi and the tubing can easily handle that. At this price point, it's a great value.
