UK Pet Beds Replacement Dog Bed/Mattress Cover - Heavy Duty Waterproof - Easy Clean - Size Medium - Colour Brown

So I have been buying dog beds every 6 months for the past 7 years, not exactly the best beds either but this is because my dog also jumps onto our sofa behind our backs the sneaky bugger (she also jumps off when she hears us coming!). I generally replace the beds because they get grubby, are hard to wash or down to wear and tear...I had this genius idea (but apparently I am not the only one thinking on this wavelength) to purchase a durable cover and fill it with a double duvet folded to size. So I bought two of these covers in jumbo size (they are massive!!) I actually just filled half of it and folded it over on itself.I did however cover this UK pet bed cover with another one I bought on Amazon (MollyMutt) which was a better size and had lovely printed fabrics, although they look smart on their own I decided for me, it would be better as a waterproof inner layer to protect the filling and hold it in place. The dog loves it. She will stay in her own bed for starters but the cover itself has lasted!I used the second cover I bought to cover an Earthbound dog mattress - the original cover on that bed looks brand new! I can't speak for water resistance but I can say that it cleans up well. I have just bought 3 more covers in a more suitable size medium (I've decided the jumbos can be put away for emergencies unless the seller wants them back?!). This has a zip to close everything together - I've seen some with Velcro which makes me feel the item is inferior. Feels great quality, looks as pictured. I couldn't recommend this enough.Anyway my point is this is well worth the money. I would 100% purchase again if the medium ones I've ordered break or if the jumbos I plan to put away for now break too!

We bought this cover to go over our dogs mattress bed that doesn't have a removable cover. We are so disappointed with this cover. It looks good and the quality also appears good. However, the zip broke straight away and then the dog was sick on it. There is nothing waterproof about this cover whatsoever! The sick soaked straight through this cover to the mattress. Advertising this as "waterproof" is incredibly misleading. I wouldn't even say water resistant!

Really good tough material. I stuffed it with memory foam bits. My dogs always make an absolute mess of anything I give them but they have not managed to rip this in any way. the zip hasn't come undone and let the bedding out either. The fabric is not that nice to the touch so I use a blanket over it ...its a bit slippy and synthetic.... But it wipes easy and it actually doesn't smell horrific .... I will defo buy more for them to lounge on ...it was well worth it for such a durable item and I can always add comfort with a blanket or throw over it.

Really happy with this dog bed cover. I have purchased many dog beds for my slightly incontinent elderly Lab but my younger Lab enjoys destroying them so I decided to try this cover as I needed tough but waterproof and this has survived a few weeks so far! It’s easy to wipe clean and doesn’t make a noise when my dog moves around like other covers often do.

I originally bought large based on the stated dimensions and the cover provided a snug fit for my memory foam mattress. HOWEVER, the zip opening is at least 6 inches shorter than the width of the cover, making it a nightmare to try and fit the mattress in the cover. As I liked the robust material , I decided to order the jumbo size next time thinking that the opening would be wider and thus easier to fit. Alas, this was not the case and I had a similar fight to squeeze the mattress into the cover. Such a shame as it would put me off buying in the future. I have knocked off 2 stars because of this but if they could make the zip the width of the cover or, even better (like previous ones I have had), extend it around the length of the cover to make changing much easier I would have given it 5 stars.

This cover is definitely not waterproof, it maybe water resistant if you don’t put it into a tumble dryer (only done once but see photo of damage to the lining). It is also very difficult to get the cover on and off for cleaning because the zip is too small. However, my Rottie always found it comfortable with or without her blanket on top 😉I actually like the cover it’s just not practical. I’ve had this cover for two months.

Needed a new cover for a foam bed which had been purchased several years ago and couldn't find one to fit until I came across this one. The cover is fantastic quality for the price and although it has not been fully tested, I have no doubt it is completely waterproof. As the existing cover was very soft, my dogs were somewhat confused when they first got onto the bed but have now got used to it. It will be perfect for allowing me to put the bed outside in the warmer months when a sturdy cover is necessary. It has certainly made the bed look much smarter than it did with the old cover and I think it will last for a very long time.

I’m not really worried about how waterproof this is, just needed something my dog can’t destroy. His bed consists of 2 duvets folded together inside a cover, which my dog has managed to rip open and remove all duvet stuffing. I’ve got this to put the duvets in and then inside a cotton cover, seems to be hard wearing enough to resist all attempts to de-stuff! Also helps keep them cleaner meaning I don’t need to wash everything twice a week, just the covers so all good.
