HUK mens Neck Gaiter | Face Protection With Upf 30+ Sun Protection

I bought this for my son to use for a Salmon fishing trip. My husband has a few and loves the fit so I ordered one for my son. He also thought it was extremely comfortable and had high quality. Would recommend to anyone looking for high performance fishing apparel.

I wear this cutting grass on my riding lawn mower, which kicks up a lot of dust...the gaiter has a breathable panel in front which keeps the dust out of my nose and mouth, and the face and neck coverings protect me from UV exposure without having to smear sunscreen on. Cool even in hot weather...

Apparently this “one size” Huk gaiter is different from size 1. Compared to the size 1 this is cheaper. It is also thinner and looser. I can see now why a lot of people rated this low. Unless one has a bigger head one should not buy this. This is not for everyone unless you have a big head.😇 My head is big enough to hold in it place so this works fine for me. On the plus side if feels more breathable and comfortable. The size one feels just a bit tighter. Both covers your face very well and with a hat and sunglasses you don’t have to worry about sun exposure.

Fits well. Fogs up my glasses a little, but as to be expected. I can breathe good enough with it on. Not warm at all.

Works perfect and does not completely cover your face awesome product.

Wrong color: This seafoam color is basically teal. It’s not blue like the one in the picture. That’s why it gets a 3 star. Other than that it’s a quality gaiter. This new style is the best IMO. It’s not super tight around the neck like the older models. The pictures show the older models. This new style (not shown in pictures) is so comfortable compared to the older styles that I forget that I have it around my neck. I have a neck injury. The older tighter models would make my neck flare up so I’d constantly be adjusting it to relieve the pressure. This new style is only tight around the top of the gaiter. I’ve been wearing gaiters for years while on the water. I’ve tried several brands over the years and never really found what I was looking for but huk was the best that I could find but being super tight was definitely a flaw IMO. That being said the new style is great. It doesn’t press against the back of my neck causing pain like the old style. I can even breathe better while wearing them. There’s an elastic band in the top of the gaiter. Everything else is loose and comfortable. The old style is like wearing a sock around your face. Also I haven’t had any issues with these spinning around while I have it around my neck like the older style did. These stay in place. The mouth/nose vent stays under my chin all the time. This is a great feature IMO.

These gators are made to provide protection from the suns harmful rays. They fit perfectly, and allow you to breathe with there porous material over the mouth.
