The term “white flour”, has often been used to mean “refined flour”, so “white wheat flour” sounds like a contradiction in terms. But it is simply whole grain flour, which includes the bran, germ and endosperm, and is ground from the hard white winter wheat berries. This results in a lighter, milder tasting flour that has the same nutritional value as traditional whole wheat flour.

It was Stale. DO NOT BUY (june 2021) Wheat flour is supposed to last 4-6 months on the shelf.
I am So surprised given this is supposed to be a high end company, and it surely had high end costs. After some confusion, I found out this was flour made from White Whole wheat, which is what I wanted. It's very expensive but the only one on Amazon that meets that criteria so I decided to splurge.It is stale. I can smell that stale smell immediately. I know that smell very well. WW flour goes bad more quickly than white because it has more oils in it, as it has the entire grain in it. I was buying it Because My Flour Was Old and Went Stale. This smells exactly like it, in the bag and in a clean glass container.Believe me I know the smell.It can make your baked goods taste "off".And if not yet, it's about to become very bad if it already smells bad.I'm kinda pissed, For this much investment, this should be in pristine condition. Instead, they apparently sent me.. And it takes months for WW flour to get old so...no, just no. I"m so dissapointed. And now, I have no flour whatsoever as I can't go to stores. Thanks War Eagle.

Not whole wheat!
BEWARE! I would give this 0 stars if possible! When I did a “ Search” for organicWHOLE WHEAT flour- this product came up.It is NOT WHOLE WHEAT! Very misleading! I did not realize it was WHITE flour until it was delivered! When I clicked for option on refund- it just said not returnable- no option for refund or replacement! I would never pay this price for a small amount of WHITE FLOUR! I will contact Amazon about this. I feel tricked!

Very Coarse But Working
I didn't realize how coarse this flour would be; I'm using it to make sourdough/feed my started daily. It's been fine but it is very gritty.

Not for cookies
I like the fact that it is organic and healthy. I used it to bake cookies, however, and they came out very gritty and tasting like corn bread. I am not sure I will use it for making cookies again. Could be good for bread.

This Is Whole wheat
To the lady who said this is not whole wheat... white whole wheat flour retains the entire grain & is just as nutritious as the more traditional hard red wheat berries. The white berries are naturally occurring but behaves more like refined white flour & therefore preferred for baking cookies, muffins etc.

Awesome Whole Wheat Flour
This whole wheat flour is great! Have used it in many recipes, and love it.
