I have purchased two of these. I uses them with oil and pressure cook chicken. They work very well.

Bought this item to fry chicken under pressure once you place chicken oil the temp drops very quickly.

I recently purchased a "brand new" MAGEFESA pressure cooker from Amazon, and I am utterly disgusted by the condition it arrived in. The product was clearly used and in an absolutely filthy state - covered in grime, food residue, and other unidentifiable substances. It did not even seal properly, rendering the pressure cooker completely useless. When I contacted MAGEFESA about this unacceptable situation, I was met with complete indifference and a complete lack of customer support. The representative I spoke to effectively told me that the company has no control over the condition their products arrive in when sold through Amazon. This is an absolutely appalling response and demonstrates a complete disregard for their customers. I was also informed me that the ONLY person who handles Magefesa USA is Philip... who is in Spain! Good luck getting a hold of him, let alone getting any real help. They said I could email him, which I did but never even got a reply. I emailed him three times over 9 days, which was over 3 weeks ago, crickets! Overall, this has been an absolutely dreadful experience. I would strongly caution anyone against purchasing any MAGEFESA products, as the quality and customer support appear to be completely unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reputable brand that actually stands behind their products. Avoid MAGEFESA at all costs! You've been warned!

My husband loves his pressure cooker , He makes his favorite meats and beans on them and it taste amazing

This is my second Magefesa. The first I purchased in 1991. I have never used it for canning. I own a large All American Canner for that. I teach food preservation, water bath and pressure canning, so I am familiar with a quality item. Frankly, my Magefesa is my personal cooking choice. The original was very secure and safe but was destroyed in a house fire in 2014 and I was advised that it's structural integrity may have been compromised so I bought a new one, which I received yesterday. I discovered this morning that the rim/clamp called the "orejones" is warped/ bent preventing the lid from sealing securely. This is a serious concern as pressure builds. Please inspect all ridges and sealing components carefully, as this superior item can prove disastrous if faulty. These Magefesas are constructed to withstand a great deal of pressure.

I bought this for a gift to my mom, she said that is beautiful. So i believe her.

The performance of the product is first rate. I pressure-fried chicken that would have impressed the Colonel. The downside is in the shipping. The first one arrived with a broken handle. Warily, I didn’t ship it back until the replacement arrived. Guess what? Another broken handle. I just removed the remaining unbroken handle and used it on the first unit. Other reviewers have also mentioned broken handles. One suggestion for users of this pressure cooker is to make sure that the lid is properly seated before using. It is very easy to lock down a misaligned lid, causing the unit to fail to come up to pressure.

I like this cookware. It is pricey but it serves the purpose of making meat and any kind tender and easy to chew. Will recommend. Id like to try the smaller and bigger size but if i can get a coupon for purchase that would be awesome!

We are very happy with item which we use to make soup mainly. Was very well packed and arrived in a reasonable time frame. our old unit of over 30 years is also back in use with new gasket. So can now do 2 batches at a time, Thank you Magefesa for such good production and Amazon for the marketing.

Great product and convenient size. For Ease Of Use and Consistent Results Nothing Beats a Magefesa Pressure Cooker. Would be better still, if a spare silicone gasket was supplied with pressure cooker.
