Awesome product to have on hand for scraped knees or worse!
I bought these to cut into pieces for acne, but I ended up using them when I skinned my knee really bad. I cleaned the wound and slapped one of these on the next day. I ended up having to change the bandage about every other day because the wound was oozing so much, but it ended up healing completely in a little over a week which seemed much faster than some of my past injuries! It also made the healing much more painless. Normally scrapes on joints hurt a lot, but in a moist environment, my scrape barely hurt at all.

Not for knee or elbow - otherwise awesome
1st of all, these things are amazing for healing cuts and bruises. Here are some things that I learned from doctors after going to urgent care while using this over my knee wound.BTW, Consult your doctor yourself... I'm just sharing what I was told.1) apparently, you don't need to use Neosporin or anything else between this and the wound. This is supposed to promote natural healing2) you're supposed to leave this in place for a few days... Without messing with it3) it's not good for knees and elbows because it doesn't stick, keeps coming off, and you need to keep replacing it.

Good, large package of hydrocolloids
Happy to have a good hydrocolloid dressing about.I work in wound research, so I know a fair bit about wound treatments and products. A hydrocolloid bandage is great for several reasons, including: not sticking to the wound, not introducing toxins into the wound, providing a biodegradable matrix for healing, and creating a temporary barrier to other bacteria. The only reason I hold back a star is this: the bandage curls far too much. you are meant to frame it with tape, and we have done so (extensively). However, we still saw a good deal of curling back. Whether this is the brand or nature of the bandage, might be irrelevant.

Best deal on hydrocolloids I've found
I cut these up and use them for acne, they're SO BIG so it makes Soo many patches that work amazingly to flatten out anyting and minimize scarring

New and improved? Not!
These are not the same as the ones I bought last year. I suppose they are “new and improved”, but I liked the old ones much better. These are not a full 4 inches. They have a clear border around the whole bandage, which serves no purpose. Also, the bandage itself now is thick, almost feels like it has gel in it. The old ones were just flat and you got a full 4 inch bandage. Also, they are hard to remove because they really stick to the wound. If you don’t leave it on until the wound is completely healed, you will open the wound up again trying to get the bandage off. They do work, but take longer to heal than the old ones. I’ve never used a whole bandage at once. I always cut it to fit the size of the wound and put a waterproof bandaid over it to hold it in place. That way, I can replace the bandaids, if they come loose, but leave the bandage until the wound is healed. When I take it off, you can’t even tell there was ever a burn, scrape, cut, etc. Please bring the old ones back.

Great for healing acne breakouts
I love these. I originally used the acne dots for small breakouts but these are larger and made of the same hydrocolloid. Shapes are larger and I can cut them smaller if needed.
