Why so expensive?
I don't quite understand why this type of basic hardware that's made in Taiwan is so expensive... and so is shipping from this seller (pretty slow on top of that) - bought these mainly for the end caps but overall definitely not worth it - can actually buy a decent full set of lock-on grips with hardware for $20...

ODI Lock Jaws and the end caps
I have given up on all grips for mountain bikes except ODI lock jaws. They stay on, don't rotate and they can be removed and reinstalled as needed. I have had my clamps for several years and have replaced the grips at least twice. There is a great assortment grips and they even have the right length for X0 twist shift. The only issue I have had with them are the end caps. The old style end caps fell off when you clipped a tree. I tried leaving them out and found out the hard and expensive way that the end caps do help protect the ends of carbon bars. I have been using the ODI end caps that have a screw and a expanding plug to hold them in place. They work but they rust and finally fail.I finally emailed ODI and found the new style clamps have a slot that fits a ridge on the end caps. I bought a new set of clamps (the purchase reviewed) and they work. I have not lost an end cap yet.Hint: When your grips start feeling greasy when they get sweaty, wash them with dish detergent instead of the cool bike cleaner that has silicone or something else to make the bike shiny

Makes it easy to switch out grips or replace
I’m pretty sure these clamps and screws are designed for only ODI grips and grips designed for the ODI clamp system; however, the screws alone could be used for other grips. Gone are the days when grips were installed by smearing soap all over the handlebar ends, then sliding the grip on and letting it dry for 24 hours. I’ve heard of using air compressors, but I like the lock-on system better.

Best of the lot.
I've bought from these guys before, always top notch sales and high quality products. These rings fit all of my ODI Lock Jaw Grips. Pop the caps on the outside ring, push like hell and pop the rings on the grips, Slide'm on your handlebars and tighten the clamp screws. I've never lost a cap, never damaged a lock ring so bad I couldn't reuse or at least get them loose. To remove, take the screw out and place a straight screwdriver in the gap, just a quick twist pops them right off of the grip. I love these things! Much higher quality than the elCheapo's, Anodized, not painted... They make the grips in the USA, but these come from Taiwan... I'll be buying more of these!

Love the system, but the blue is a bit lackluster
Lock-on grips aren't an option, they're a must. They work great. The new end plugs work well too and are much lower profile than the old ones, although they do take a bit of convincing to get them on. Protip: Put them on BEFORE you mount the lockjaw to your grip (or bar!).My only complaint is that the blue anno doesn't "pop". It's kind of a dull, steel-blue more than a vivid blue like on Fox adjustment dials or a deep, saturated blue like on my Pivot's hardware. I ended up taking them off and using black ones I already had because it was just one too many shades of blue. C for style, A+ for function.

Fantastic Product
When I purchased my ODI Ruffian grips from the local bike shop, they sold them to me without the clamps. The grips were purchased after being pulled from a bike they swapped the grips with on their sales floor, so I got them for dirt cheap. The clamps function just as they should: clip on to the little tabs on the grips, stay loose so the grips can slide on and off the bars, and when tightened allow no slipping on the grips or end caps for the grips. Had one season on them already with no issues, and they are ready for another season of treks, hill bombs, and whatever else I can dish out. There is only one grip company that is worth spending money on, and it's ODI.

Love ODI Grips. These should be included with every purchase.
I docked one star because these really should come with the grips and not be an add on. Lizard Skins just packages them all together. They do their job and lock the ODI's on tight.

Adds flava to your bike
ODI’s are the shiznit. The caps stay put, and look baller.I’m getting ocd over my bike and adding some color to it. The assortment of colors they offer are great.

Highly recommend!
Excellent good quality anodising and locks your grips in place very easily. Very impressed! Just like ODI grips I have used over the years, these are very soft and very comfortable to use for long cycle journeys and off road enduro use. I highly recommend these grips.

Lock your stuff on
Purchased these to go with some odi rogue grips that I'd brought separately. The blue clamps look really good.

Griffig

odi the best
