Intron Depot 3: Ballistics

I own Itron Depot 2, Pieces 1 through 6, his Toihime Zohushi artbook and some others as well.Ballistics is a collection of his art work from 1992 through 2002. Most of this volume consist of sci-fi and urban warfare illustrations as well as the artist own thoughts and ideas behind his work (in Japanese and English). If you like hot anime style women in skin tight black leather outfits with guns then this is the book for you! If you like Appleseed or Ghost in the Shell at all you will like this collection (though it doesn't actualy contain any Ghost in the Shell art).This book is gigantic. It measures in at 9 1/4 inches wide by 13 inches long and a 1/2 inch thick (119 pages of art). I've owned it for a few years now and it has held together well. It still looks new. It's worth every dollar I spent!I recommend it.

This is the best Intron Depot in my collection.We, in the USA, don't get enough of Mr Shirows work, so ifyou're a big fan, this is one to collect.If you had his past Intron Depot, you will clearly seehow he has progressed with his incorporation of digitalgraphics, with eith Photoshop or Corel Bryce. He hastaken his cyberpunk anime to another level.The presentations of his art is outstanding. His details,colors, depth, and his thoughts are well included in his work.M only wish is that they included some of his works in CD-ROM, so I could display them on my PC the way he saw on his PC.Many ppl scan his works but it only ruins the colors.I hope in his next project they would include this CD-ROM like many graphic books are doing nowadays.

Scifi girly mag with guns and robots. Great concept designs, hot manga style chicks, good cofee table material if you want to scare away a normal girl. Keep it on the book shelf, dust it off from time to time. If you have depot1 and blades, just complete the set, k?

Another dazzling collection of artwork from Mr. Shirow, this one compiles images from 1992 to 2002. As usual, outside of a few Appleseed paintings, I haven’t seen any of this stuff before. It’s interesting how many color variants he makes of certain images (and almost never picks the one I would pick), and his commentary is as enjoyable as ever.You need this for your collection, it’s just as good as the previous two.

Got my off ebay for about 17.00 this has a 50.00 cover price.Even though Masamune shirow uses digital coloring now he still uses hand sketches which makes up for all of the CG this is the best book by far off all of the intron Depot books. I really like ID 1 alot but this is a really nice book.

More of the jaw droping pretty girl art from Shirow. Full page glossy promotional images glore! Guns, shiney girls, sci-fi environments, And even more fan service than Blades!If that's what you love about Shirow's work. This is for you!As a long time fan of this artist, I say you can't go wrong.

The cover of my order arrived with a large cut across the entire front cover. I normally wouldnt be too upset about something like this but these books are expensive.

Awesome art. Like the previous Intron Depots.
